I want to send a warm welcome to our newest team member, Patrick Voller. Patrick brings more than two decades of experience in technical support and sales in analog and high end audio for some of our favorite brands and vendors.
As the team grows, so does our bandwidth to support our enthusiast community.
We will now be open M-F 12-5 at our retail showroom at USM in NYC, where we are hosting customer demos of the Klipsch Ojas kO-R2, and much more. You no longer need an appointment to come demo the speakers, so please drop by any time during open hours to have a listen to the kO-R2, chop it up about some of the tonearms and cartridges we stock and find out what else we’re up to. We also have a ton of great records and audio related books and magazines. We’re will be adding Saturdays soon too. We’re here to answer any of your questions. Hope to see you soon! ✌️ 🔊

Thanks so much to everyone who came out last night. It was a blast! Special thanks to @cellphono and @bigbarnewyork for the encouragement and opportunity. And the bar patron who thanked me for playing the Mekons. Who knows, maybe I’ll do it again next year…

deep listening 2025, you just had to be there :)

what started one summer night in my living room has grown into one of the most grounding and beautiful parts of my year. all it took was gathering some friends and friends of friends, putting our phones in another room, and sharing an openness to truly listen.

every month a new group forms, and somehow, strangers become a small temporary community through nothing more than sound, stillness, and attention.

there’s so much more I could say, but I’ll let the ephemera speak for now. thank you to everyone who’s attended. your presence makes this work. to more sessions ahead, and manifesting a larger space in 2026!

august - air, moon safari
september - nina simone, in concert
october - tame impala, currents
november - floating points, eleania
december - jamie xx, in colour
