Moving your family to North Orlando, Florida? Not every weekend has to be a Disney weekend.

We spent the day at the Central Florida Zoo in Sanford, Florida and honestly… this is exactly the kind of day I moved here for.

We walked the entire zoo, took in all the animals, and if you are going with little ones, there is a water area, a petting zoo, and a massive climbing set with swings that will wear them out completely!!

No fast passes. No $200 parking.
Just a really good day.

And here is the best part!! The zoo is running a free trick-or-treat event for the kiddos
in October: 17th-18th, 24th-25th & 31st🎃👻
✨Free with your zoo admission.

There is also a restaurant right on site called Kraze Kitchen, if you need a brief re-fuel before round two at the playground.

This is what weekends look like here. Relaxed, affordable, and the kids are worn out by the time you get home.
