🥗💚🙌It’s Food Waste Prevention Week and to date Food Connection has diverted over 635 TONS of chef-prepared food from ending up in our local landfills! We could not do this without the support of funders and volunteers and today we were fortunate enough to have both! Our friends from Women for Women joined us by packing rescued food into individual heat and serve meals to go out to our neighbors in need through our food truck. This group of philanthropists really care about supporting our Western North Carolina community and are not afraid to roll up their sleeves and do the hard work! We are incredibly grateful for this partnership. • Give Women for Women a follow to keep up with more good stories. • #womenforwomen #givingback #philanthropy volunteers foodconnection
