AFTER MANY MANY MONTHS OF CULMINATING, COMPLICATIONS POSTPONING THE OPENNING AND HAVING TO KEEP ABSOLUTELY HUSH ON ANY INFORMATION ON THE SPACE, I CAN FINALLY ANNOUNCE THE VENUE.

@radial.london IN TOTTENHAM WILL HOST TOMORROWS DAY INTO NIGHT PARTY, IN AN AMAZING ARCHITECTURALLY-DRIVEN BEAUTIFUL CLUB SPACE. THE FITOUT FROM DESIGN BOFFINS @sodalondon IS EVEN BETTER THAN THE RENDERS FROM THE DESIGN PACK.

THE SPACE TAKES INSPIRATION FROM @studioolafureliasson ART INSTALLATION “THE WEATHER PROJECT” AT THE TATE FROM 2003, WHICH LEANS HEAVY FOCUS ON THE POINT OF THE SUN AT THE BACK OF THE ROOM, ALMOST SUBCONSCIOUSLY WARMING YOUR SKIN AS YOU DANCE IN THAT BATHE OF ORANGE LIGHT. A SYMBOLISM OF THE IRISH PAGAN DANCING RITUALS WHERE WE DRAW OUR COLLECTIVE NAME, CEOL MÓR. ITS NO COINCIDENCE WHY THIS SPACE CHOSE US.

AN IMMERSIVE SPACE THAT'S AUDIOPHILE DRIVEN, WITH A CUSTOM 10-POINT MARTIN AUDIO SOUND SYSTEM RECENTLY TUNED AFTER CLUB NIGHT TEST RUNS OVER THE PAST FEW WEEKS. IT REALLY IS THE BEST ITS EVER GOING TO SOUND.

WE CANNOT WAIT TO HEAR IT WITH OUR LINEUP TOMORROW. AND WE’RE SO EXCITED FOR YOU TO EXPERIENCE THIS SPACE WITH US.

Originally from Ireland, a decade under the belt, makes me no stranger to the cottonopolis music scene of Manchester. Above is one from the archive of the early @meatfreemcr days!

A technically minded turntablist with an individual multi-genre style on all things low end, percussive, and glitchy & wobbly. Be that Techno, Breaks, UK Bass, and the unashamed guilty little pleasure of Trance.

All bases (and trebles) will be covered with tomorrow's show so hold tight for the special guest announcement tomorrow!

Get your arses down, take in the space and set yourselves up for what @greenarchesmcr and @isit.kitchen have to offer.

Next in the Ceol Mór collective lineup is one of my favourite DJs in the north west (and the NQ's biggest Celtic FC supporter) none other than @selectors_on_ice

For those of you that were at the last "Portmanto" event in @easternbloc_ , you'll need no introduction, a talent that makes a B2B set always an enjoyable experience.

Sonice (pronounced so nice) is a forward thinking, versatile DJ & main stay in Manchester. He is the founder ofcommunity music studio space @therec.centre and sole promoter behind Blind High and one of the founding members of @strange.mcr .

Sonically Sonice is hard to pinpoint in relation to his sets and it depends on factors like setting, crowd, set time & line up. With countless genres of club ready music to hand you can always count on a specialist set that won’t be heard again anytime soon.

The majority of his inspiration comes from the musical hubs that are Africa, America & UK. His approach to being a DJ has rarely changed in the last 10 years with the main focus being music that can bring a positive energy, keep you engaged and help you forget anything outside the space you’re in!

The highlight of tomorrow evening, so make sure you catch his set.

Next up on the Ceol Mór boxing card is @zuri__fernandez (and oh boy can she punch 👊)

Zuri was born in the beautiful town of San Sebastian, in the Basque Country but now resides in Manchester. A @steamradiomcr resident Zuri who will be bringing an eclectic UK sound for a Spaniard, with her love for heavy, bassy, percussive rhythms and all things 160.

An amazing DJ with an ever expanding genre palette and a great personality to match!

First up on Friday's @greenarchesmcr X @isit.kitchen event from the Ceol Mór collective is oh so lovely @charms.vt

A rising figure in the Manchester music scene, CHARMS is a multi-genre DJ whose selections span across the Black diaspora, ranging from smooth amapiano polyrhythms to the percussive grooves of UK funky and afrohouse.

Go check out her Instagram and most importantly "The Rejoice Show" @reformradio

A real selector and one to definitely get excited about.

Ey up, what's the craic!

Following from the very successful first "Portmanto" series hosted at @easternbloc_ , the Ceol Mór (Gaelige: pron. "kee-yol mor") collective have been invited down to @greenarchesmcr for a summer evening takeover! The @isit.kitchen boys will also be slinging out some delicious food (or "scran" if you're a propah northerner).

We've again decided to make this a FREE EVENT from 7pm - late to get the opportunity to showcase this great new space and fabulous local Manchester talent along with a very special guest announced later this week.

Keep those eyes peeled over the next few days for more information about the space and the artists involved 👀

Someone who needs little intro in Manchester, soon-to-be veteran, "honcho in the trackie poncho" @selectors_on_ice and myself "Bash Mohandes" take over @easternbloc_ Friday 26th May from 9pm - 3am.

Following his two consecutively incredible bank holiday daytime events at the White Hotel, he returns tomorrow to get the Triskelion May bank holiday blue peter badge.

This is the first event for the Ceol Mór collective's "Portmanto" series, where only two selectors are on the bill all night, B2B, from start to finish. A battle between two pseudo siblings showcasing their entire arsenal for the title of evening.

This will span a full records-only collection for us both. Everything will be on the table at this event, but expect kooky descriptive words of genres like wobbly techno, laden percussive UK bass, heavy hittin' garage and maybe even a cheeky 90s trance track (a very guilty pleasure of both Sonice and myself :P).

We've made sure this one was a free one for the first event, (with a cracker design by @forgee_design)

Don't miss the chance to come down and (very respectfully) shlapp the ceiling in this infamous venue.

This is set to be a special one.
