am proud of my sad cowboy Gus and the way we ~ Gus + Nicholas + HARD WORKING team explored collaboration. ty for your beautiful song Gus and Nicholas! y’all ain’t ready for the magic they’ve been cooking up. i am inspired by their rejection of cHoOsInG a sOuNd or a gEnRe. that map y’all are all over is magic. ⁣
⁣
i am playing with form and trying to lead in a way that holds space for invention and freedom while still offering shape, and making decisions when it is time to decide. it’s weird! but i think i am finding some stuff. some cooperative stuff ; ) i look forward to sharing more soon 🧡🌵 ⁣⁣

we played with elements and the earth and with camp and with g r i e f 😢🤠🤡💦🌬🍃🔥⁣ also was the first time i have ever been on a set EVER where i heard, out loud three times in our circle, “my pronouns are she/they.” it’s sad how little exposure i have had to queer environments in working environments but it is also beautiful bc when we get to hand pick our team, that is power and autonomy.⁣

Greece Trip Part 2: The Food
My life motto has always been, "Good food in good company." While the food wasn't always spectacular, the experiences always were. From family style everywhere to the literal best gelato in all of Greece to a Cola flavor I wish was in the States to the weirdest named ice cream marketing could come up with. With souvlaki and cafes on every corner, going to get food was an integral part of my time in Greece, and I fucking loved it. 😋❤️ #food #foodie #foodrun #delicious #gelato #cafe #greece #athens #mykonos #nafplio #cocacola #scandal #icecream #college #university #studyabroad

With Global Seminars the world really is your lecture hall! 🤗 Learning about a subject while living in a city that provides the perfect context for your studies really makes your study abroad experience that much more meaningful. ✨ Here’s what 2019 GS participant @cerestrinh has to say about it, “...I’ve never been abroad before and have never really experienced any other kind of learning besides your typical US college experience. But what I learned studying abroad in Greece was that being able to see and be in the environment where some of these amazing historic events or buildings once stood really solidifies the learning process and gives the information a whole new dimension and layer that you can relate to. I mean, people talk about it all the time, and it makes sense, but experiencing it gave me a true understanding of the value and the weight it actually holds.” 🗺 Read the rest of the blog post on our student run blog (link in bio). 🎊 #TheWorldIsYourLectureHall #ucsdgs #studyabroad #travel #ucsd #greece

I finished my freshman year of college!!! The people in these photos have brought so much love and joy into my life. They’ve given me a home and a family in San Diego. Also, I was unbelievably lucky to be in 3 shows this year. I learned so much from every one of them. It’s so fulfilling to study what I’m passionate about and work towards bettering my craft. To my people who have graduated and are moving on to bigger and better things, you inspire me and I’m so thankful that you took me under your wing. To my people that I’ll see here next school year, I’m so happy to be stuck with you guys. For now, I’m so excited to go home to Utah and for SUMMER!
P.s. if I didn’t tag you it’s cause Instagram informed me you can only tag 20 people in a post so I’m very sorry
