I had the pleasure of joining @creatorlab.ben and @stryke303 from @dolby for a recent episode of the Dolby Creator Talks Podcast, where we explored the creation of the @grammys winning album IMMERSED.

Alongside my co-producer, @drewjurecka and mastering engineer @coastmastering we had an in-depth conversation about the creative journey behind this project.

You can watch or listen on @youtube Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and more. 🔗 in Bio ⬆️

I want to express my sincere gratitude to everyone at Dolby. A year ago, I presented IMMERSED for the first time as I had always envisioned it: as an immersive cinematic experience in a Dolby Cinema. We premiered the cinematic album at the Dolby headquarters theatre in San Francisco and the Dolby Vine Theatre in Los Angeles.

It was a dream come true to bring the community together to experience the project in this way, and I will always be grateful for Dolby’s incredible support and partnership throughout my creative journey.

This technology helped make the music possible. It was a dream to have this conversation and celebrate IMMERSED winning the Grammy Award for Best Immersive Audio Album.

I hope you enjoy the conversation 🙏🏼

Big thanks to @justingraysound, @willyportermusic, @cerithom1982, @maibloomfield, and Ryan Ulyate for sharing your knowledge and experiences. And to @alexoana for being the highly over-qualified DJ 😜

From the TEC Tracks panel ‘Future-Proof Studio Design’ at NAMM 2026, @rafasardina breaks down modern production workflows, why Pro Tools remains central to his process, and why delivering in Dolby Atmos is now non-negotiable.

2025 🫡

Starting the year in @realworldstudios with @buffwerk and ending the year at Dolby with @justingraysound is pretty cool. I managed to bookend my year with the two of the current Grammy Immersive nominees 🤓

And everything in between was amazing.

-Seeing friends progress their research @christaljerez, @tu______dor & @_sam__dickinson_
-Welcoming people to @huddersfielduni
-watching students and friends leave to new ventures
-finished building our new songwriting studios
-worked the most surreal gig in York Minster (metal and pipe organ together) with @m.mxson and @andrew.bourbon
-several recordings throughout the year including an 8 piece jazz band which was a real highlight alongside @araljackyil
-picked up the sticks and formed a hardcore band
-started a country songwriting duo with one of my closest friends @johnygibsonsmith
-visited several amazing studios and met loads of great engineers
-finally caught up with @chris_james_parker who showed me round @abbeyroadstudios 🙌🏻

So what will 2026 bring 🤔

It was a pleasure to host a screening of the GRAMMY®-nominated album IMMERSED at the Dolby Soho Screening Room in London last month.

IMMERSED was composed, recorded, and produced in Dolby Atmos from the ground up and paired with a full-length film.

From the outset of the project, I envisioned sharing it with audiences in Dolby Atmos cinemas. Thank you to everyone who attended, and to the whole @dolby_unitedkingdom team.

This screening featured the album’s dedicated cinematic mix, created at @company_3 (Toronto)

IMMERSED is available to listen to in Dolby Atmos on streaming platforms worldwide.

The album and film are also available on Pure Audio Blu-ray, featuring the high-resolution Dolby TrueHD master & film. @ianrecords
