More homes start with the infrastructure you don’t see! 💧

The Crisafulli Government is investing $44.5 million in critical sewerage and stormwater upgrades to unlock land for 7,200 new homes across Mackay and Sarina.

The Residential Activation Fund has now unlocked more than 174,000 places to call home for Queenslanders, building Queensland’s future after a decade of decline under Labor. #reels #Queensland #delivery

I wasn’t going to do a post, but I believe in sharing the lows just as much as the highs.

Tongyeong wasn’t the race I wanted. There’s nothing more humbling as a professional athlete than not performing in the sport you pour your whole life into. Harshly, it doesn’t matter how well you train if you can’t show it on race day… and that stings.

Trying to come up in professional sport isn’t glamorous, it’s a constant push to prove yourself, to break through, to show you belong at the level you dream of. It’s draining, confusing, and at times brutally isolating… but it’s still the dream, and that’s what keeps you fighting.

Despite a couple of tough races, I’m proud of what this year has held, both in and out of competition:
• Two podiums at the Oceania/Australian Champs
• Ran a 1:06 high half marathon
• Moved back to an Australian training squad
• Started coaching for @surfersparadisetriathlonclub
• Created a cool community with @theunfundedpod

Not the finish to the season I imagined, but that’s sport. I’ll take two weeks to get my shit together, reset, and then it’s straight into the work for the off-season.
Better days ahead.

Can’t win them all.

Not my day at @noosatriathlon, no excuses I just wasn’t good enough on the day. Swam really well setting up my race at the front, had no legs on the bike and got left behind, then ran one of the faster runs of the day which I’m proud of.
We go again in two weeks 🇰🇷

Not much to be said about that one. 2nd out of the swim, but a flat tyre coming out of T1 forced me to DNF.

Another crack next weekend. We’ll make up for it there!

Proud of this one. Massive improvements this domestic season. From 13th, 11th and 7th last year to 3rd, 7th and 2nd this year in the Oceania championship races. Time to see what we can do on the international stage 🫡

Tough day out. Triathlon turned Duathlon. P7 in the end.

Despite the last minute race change we still gave it a good crack. Didn’t have the legs in the last run, but plenty to take from it into the next one.
