TYJ for another amazing session! I am so blessed to have gotten the chance to be surrounded by such amazing, wise, fun, and goofy people! I’ve spiritually grown in numerous ways and see myself desiring to grow even more! Can’t wait for next summer!

It was such a blessing to serve at STC! The memories and friendships are ones that will last a lifetime (and some club talks)! I can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for all our lives! So uh I guess see yall at the gates or something 🤷🏼‍♂️

just a camp in the mountains of georgia where hundreds of kids met Jesus and somehow i was allowed a small part in it🙂

no words can describe the beauty, grace, and redemption displayed by my God in the last 3 weeks in this little slice of heaven we call young life camp

Three weeks of life changing love, growth, devotion, turning friends to family, TYJ for SharpTop Cove!

Just like that, the summer 2025 season at SharpTop Cove has come to the end. But it was one to remember.

“Remember the days of long ago; think about the generations past. Ask your father, and he will inform you. Inquire of your elders, and they will tell you.” Deuteronomy 32:7

Starting out session three, I was dead tired and wanted nothing more than rest.

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28

After learning the previous session that I’m closer than I realize to being ready for full time staff, I wanted to become lazy and not work as hard as I need to.

“Lazy people want much but get little, but those who work hard will prosper.” Proverbs 13:4

My co bikes intern became unavailable to give bike rides during this session, which meant I needed to step up and work harder than before to overcome fatigue and laziness.

“But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31

But what made it possible for bikes to continue the last part of the session was the summer staffers that volunteered to give bike rides alongside while occupying their current assigned tasks.

“Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” Galatians 6:10

This summer became possible for me, interns, co-workers and campers because of volunteers.

“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.” Colossians 3:23-24

The SharpTop Cove 2025 season was one for the books.
