🏆 Congratulations to ATFK: Repeat for Joy the winner our Best Music Video award at Sunderland Shorts Film Festival 2026!

The Music Video night at Sunderland Shorts is always a highlight of our festival week, and the amazing selection of talent on display from artists near and far always makes for a great evenings entertainment! This year was no exception with the award being chosen by the team at Sunderland Music City who praised director Jeremy Bradfield’s artful visuals that accompanied and complemented the song.

Submissions for the next edition of Sunderland Shorts are open now at: Filmfreeway.com/SunderlandShorts

Still coming down off an incredible first week of shows, audiences absolutely on fire in Brighton, Poole and Guildford but I have to say that London at the Union Chapel was a career (and life!) highlight for me.

Music is not an easy game to be in right now. Costs are up, disposable income is down, buying music is extinct, and every platform we rely on to get the word out punishes us for having anything of substance to say.

18 years, 8 prime ministers, a couple of stand up shows and 8 albums in, the fact that you guys consistently show up, sing up, bring your whole hearts and souls and voices remains a miracle to me. That there are enough of you to fill that legendary space with song and love and hope and solidarity and make it feel like our own church - that’s a miracle. THANK YOU.

There are nights when the sound isn’t right, or the venue isn’t perfect, or your hands or your voice don’t do what you want them to do, or you get in your head, or any of a million other things occlude the magic. And then there are nights when the stars align. That was the Union Chapel tonight. I will remember it forever.

Thank you, London. ❤️

Among Friends, Season 2 is now on STREAMING! Name another album that has both 80’s South African pop AND an English madrigal, I dare you. Huge gratitude to all the folks involved - what an incredible experience it was making this album. Special thanks to @kelly__oden for ALL these amazing visuals, including the album cover. Give it a listen!!
