Francesco Borg is Tommy. A young man with a harrowing connection with Joel. Tommy keeps appearing in Joels dreams, but what is he hiding?

Francesco is a Maltese actor who has been steadily building his presence within Malta’s performing arts industry through both theatre and film. His work reflects a commitment to developing his craft across different mediums, from live stage productions such as 'Dark Road' (2025) to independent cinema. Borg has been involved with the Maltese theatre scene through productions presented by the Malta Amateur Dramatic Club (MADC), one of the country's leading theatrical organisations. In 2025, he appeared in Dark Road as part of the MADC One Act Play Festival, showcasing his stage acting abilities alongside emerging local talent. He has also expanded into film, appearing in the Maltese mystery drama Illusion of Faith, an international co-production filmed in Malta that earned multiple nominations at the Hard Faith Fest in Los Angeles. Through his involvement in both theatre and screen productions, Borg represents a new generation of Maltese performers contributing to the growth and visibility of Malta’s creative industries.

Check out Francesco's performance in PAINS EMBRACE releasing next year.

And just like that.. our journey has come to an end. This production was incredible experience.. from writing down rough ideas, to figuring out how we’re going to act them out, and then figuring how to market the whole thing 😂

This production helped to push the boundaries and capabilities of the whole team, and I cannot begin to describe how proud I am of my fellow students. We truly had some phenomenal performances throughout the play!

Last but not least, thank you to @clivepiscopo for being the driving force behind @theatrelabmalta. Thank you for believing in us and pushing all of us to be at our very best 💪

The longing for summer.

Before the beaches fill up.
Before the heat becomes too much to bear.
Before every plan turns into “one quick swim”.

There’s this short period where everything still feels calm.

Summer is close enough to look forward to, but far enough to enjoy the peace.

Walking down to Blue Grotto is like walking inside a time capsule.

And although the weather wasn’t in our favour, this sea inlet gave us the perfect backdrop to have a quick shoot with @cesco__11

After our shoot we drove up to Żurrieq’s pjazza for a tea and a quick chat. But we got distracted. There was more that deserved to be captured. And we obliged.
