Popped into @cesttoutbakery to grab my usual Buddha Bowl and Chai Tea on my way back through Smiths Falls, between appointments. The team went out of their way to put a smile on my face with a sweet message and heart on my cup, and another cute drawing on my Buddha Bowl. Thank you for always putting a smile on my face! 😊 Oh, if you haven’t tried their delicious Buddha Bowl, I highly recommend that you do.

You heard right friends! My son said “this is the best place to go in the whole country!” 🇨🇦

Sharing our fav shots of our recent Smiths Falls family road trip and you can see why we had the best trip ever!!

Smiths Falls is a such an easy drive from Ottawa, you could do a day trip or make a night or more of it!

If you’re spending the night, be sure to check out the coolest experience EVER which was spending the night in a real train caboose at the Railway Museum of Eastern Ontario! 🚂

Smiths Falls offers such a range of spots for tasty eats like C’est Tout, Amaya Café, The Lockmaster’s Taphouse (the patio overlooking the falls is stunning), and The Vault. We also got to taste the amazing fudge from Moose Munchies! 🤤

We also checked out the water with Le Boat, visited the Spirit of the Drum Pow Wow, and the vibrant night market.

Toy Heaven’s Virtual Reality (VR) room was also a huge highlight especially for my son, and Dad’s Arcade for games, and Bowie’s for live music would be great to check out too!

Heritage House Museum is also a must to learn all about the town’s rich history. 🏡

Smiths Falls has such a stunning waterfront along the Rideau Canal too, with tons of scenic views and photo ops!

Smiths Falls truly has something for everyone at all ages from events and activities, to local gems, and much more.

🚗 Smiths Falls Road Trip!! 🚗

We recently spent a weekend exploring Smiths Falls as a family, and it completely exceeded our expectations!! 🤯

My son said “this is the best place to go in the whole country!” 🥹 🇨🇦

Smiths Falls is a short drive from Ottawa, and it’s a destination that offers something for everyoneeee!

First of all Smiths Falls is a foodie’s dream come true with incredible eats at C’est Tout, Amaya Café, The Lockmaster’s Taphouse (the patio overlooking the falls is a must), and The Vault just to name a few! 🌊

We also couldn’t resist the delicious fudge from Moose Munchies! 🤤

One of the highlights was experiencing the town from the water with Le Boat, and we loved taking in the community spirit at The Spirit of the Drum Pow Wow. The night market was a super happening evening featuring cool local vendors also!

My son had an absolute blast at Toy Heaven’s Virtual Reality (VR) room, and you’ll definitely want to check out Dad’s Arcade for fun vintage games, and Bowie’s for live music.

The coolest experience ever was exploring the Railway Museum of Eastern Ontario and spending the night in a REAL TRAIN caboose!! My son will be talking about it forever! 🚂

We also visited the Heritage House Museum, where we learned more about the town’s fascinating history, and spent time along the beautiful Rideau Canal waterfront, which is filled with scenic views and photo ops!

From great food and family-friendly attractions to local events and beautiful scenery, Smiths Falls made for such a memorable family getaway. 💖
