hi, I’m Cearra - a self taught creative based in Lusaka. I sew clothes using second hand garments, as well as designing and making bikinis.
Since I was as young as I can remember, my sisters and I would chop up our clothes and make outfits for ourselves and our toys. But I only really tapped into this space and awakened my creativity in 2020.
I wanted to start this digital platform as a space to highlight the creativity within the community and to identify people who inspire me or others with their meaningful work in the industry that is ever growing in Lusaka.
This is a place for real conversations, creativity and community. I want to dive in and share the talent around, get into what they do, how they do it, and why it matters to them, through interviews and images.
