Today, the messy chef, a.k.a. Djuma Soundsystem, has decided to serve up a humongous pot of hot soup. 🍲

A generous handful of exotic herbs and spices has been tossed into this bubbling cauldron of musical umami. There’s definitely some African wild game in the mix, seasoned with hints of Latin paella and a dash of Arabic flavour for good measure. 🥘

We’ve also slipped in a little taste of Iziki’s latest release, Hondo, because every good soup deserves a surprise ingredient. 🥁

So go ahead - indulge your palate and enjoy the feast.
Just make sure you’re nowhere to be found when it’s time to clean the kitchen.

Episode #99 now available on SoundCloud. 🚀

Today we celebrate 6 years of Chivirico Records, where the beat doesn’t just play… it breathes, evolves, and tells stories born from the soul and finished on the dancefloor.

It’s been years of endless nights, of basslines beating like a rebellious heart, of dreams that never asked for permission to become real. Every track, every artist, every vibe… has been a spark in this fire that refuses to fade.

Thank you to everyone who has danced with us, to those who believed when everything was still silence, and to those on the way… because this is only warming up.

We keep breaking boundaries, crossing borders, and elevating the Afro House and Afro Latin sound to another level.

6 years isn’t the story… it’s just the intro. 🚀🎶

Colombian vibes take over tonight’s menu, as Dum K steps up throwing bold Afro-infused heat that hits exactly where it should! 🔥

This chef isn’t here to play — blending, searing, and delivering knockout sounds straight from Bogotá’s streets. 💥

Get ready for fiery bass, simmered-down rhythms, and percussion so sharp it snaps. If your ears start craving more… consider yourself warned. 🌶️

Episode #93 is available now on Soundcloud — so tap in via @djumasoundsystem bio, and catch Colombia’s finest plating up a sonic experience that truly hits. 🇨🇴🎶🍽️

@cezararagon , @killthemwcolour – Arqa emerges with a deep, hypnotic pulse, where textured percussion and atmospheric layers create a refined Afro House journey. Built with subtle tension and elegant movement, the track captures that magnetic energy made for open-air moments, late sunsets, and dancefloors that move with intention. A powerful release with character, depth, and undeniable groove.
