What an incredible morning at Commons Park! 🍂🧡
Our annual Kids Cancer Foundation 5K & Fall Festival was filled with so much love, laughter, and community spirit! Each year, we come together in loving memory of Sebastian, and it means so much to have his family join us to celebrate his life and the mission that brings us all together. 💛
A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped make today so special!
🎃 Community of Hope for bringing their food truck, serving up delicious hot dogs, and creating the cutest pop-up pumpkin patch that was a HUGE hit with the kids!
🍎 Christ Fellowship for coming through with their food truck and those always-popular apple cider donuts that everyone looks forward to each year!
🍪 Wellington Art Society for bringing some extra sweetness to our Fall Festival with cookie decorating for the kids!
💪 Motiv8 Fitness for getting everyone moving and energized with a fun warm-up before the race!
🎤 Life.Church for helping us kick off the morning with a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem by the talented Jasmine!
💛 A special shoutout to Team Eli the Brave for showing up with an incredible turnout and bringing so much love and support year after year!
And of course, to all of our amazing volunteers, runners, walkers, families, and supporters, THANK YOU! Events like this are only possible because of the incredible community that continues to show up for our kids and families.
Our hearts are full, and we’re already looking forward to next year! 🧡

What a weekend. I went down to Hollywood yesterday with one goal. Compete in DEKA STRONG and get one step closer to completing my first DEKA Trifecta.

That was the plan. I finished DEKA STRONG in 19:11, placing 5th overall, 5th out of the men and 2nd in my age group. Another DEKA event checked off, better rankings, and one step closer to that Trifecta.

I was completely happy with that, But apparently @lmoli22 had other plans. While we were down there, she signed us up for DEKA ATLAS. A much more strength focused, CrossFit style competition. This was a little more in my wheelhouse. I finished in 13:56 and somehow walked away 1st place overall.

I’ve podiumed in a race before, but this one was different. This was my first time taking 1st place in a gym/fitness competition.

So I left Hollywood with two medals yesterday. Two competitions. Two podium finishes, and something I definitely wasn’t expecting when I woke up yesterday morning.

I was proud of both of them, but then I woke up today I got another one. My 2-year sobriety chip. Out of all three things I earned this weekend, this little chip means more to me than both of those medals combined, because without these last two years, there probably isn’t a DEKA, there isn’t Spartan, there isn’t CrossFit. Most important there probably wouldn’t be GOD. There is no races, podiums, trips across the world, or any of the opportunities I’ve been blessed enough to experience.

Those medals represent what I’ve accomplished. This chip represents the life that made those accomplishments possible. Two years sober from alcohol and Two years of choosing a different life.

Two years of learning what I’m actually capable of when I stop running from life and start showing up for it. I’m proud of the two medals I brought home yesterday, but 2 years sober will always be the biggest win of this weekend.

DEKA ATLAS — 13:56 | 1st Overall

2 YEARS SOBER — the one that means the most.

Last weekend I got to lead worship with my favorite worship leader (my husband) and our cf.royal palm team!

I hadn’t led No Longer Slaves in years, but the moment we hit the bridge, everything I love about this song came rushing back. Standing beside him, singing these words over a room full of people, is not something I take for granted.

A song like this isn’t about a polished set. It’s a declaration. You sing the truth until your own soul catches up to it. I am a child of God. I am not bound by fear. Some days I believe that with my whole being. Some days I have to sing it before I can feel it.

That’s what I mean when I say your voice carries more than sound. It carries what you believe. When you sing truth over yourself, your body listens too. Your breath steadies. Your shoulders come down. The words settle into the places that were holding fear.

If you are leading this weekend, sing it like you mean it. Even the parts you are still growing into that full belief.

Your Voice. Your Legacy.

MVMNT camp 2026
There is so much I can say and really I trying to process it all still! What an incredible week, I have said it before and will continue to say it there is nothing like being in a room full of high school worshipping Jesus and growing in their faith. This week I got to see my students grow so much I seriously have no words! I know this week as impacted their life’s and honestly it’s impacted mine as well. I am beyond proud of them and so blessed to know them. I can’t wait to see how God keeps working in their lives. I can tell you so many wonderful stories of what happened this week and how much these kids mean to me but I wouldn’t even know where to begin! All I can say is Thank you Jesus for allowing me to be apart of this and what you are doing in these students lives!
