That’s a wrap Pittsburgh’s 50 Finest Class of ‘26 ✨🫶🏼✨

Incredibly blessed and honored to have been named an honoree in this year’s class of Pittsburgh’s 50 Finest through the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation! It’s been an amazing summer of networking & events, making friends, and most importantly, making a difference.

Giving back and getting involved has been something that was ingrained in me since I was a kid. I feel it’s so important for not only those on the receiving end, but also extremely developmental in creating and showing up as the best version of yourself.

So many people are affected by Cystic Fibrosis, and even more people are carriers of the gene without knowing it. With the help of my friends, family, colleagues, & supporters I was able to raise $6,644, and together, our class raised $622,783 towards the fight for a cure. The fight’s not over and I look forward to staying involved.

Grateful to be named one of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Pittsburgh 50 Finest and even more grateful for everyone who came out to celebrate and support such an important cause. It was an incredible night surrounded by so many great people.

The Western Pennsylvania chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is made up of some of the most passionate, hardworking, and genuinely dedicated people I’ve had the chance to meet. The amount of work they put into supporting individuals and families affected by cystic fibrosis, raising awareness, funding research, and pushing toward a cure is incredible. They pour so much time, energy, and heart into this mission, and the impact they make deserves a tremendous amount of recognition.

I am completely humbled and honored to say that I was one of the top fundraisers for Pittsburgh’s 50 Finest Class of 2026, raising $62,562 for the @cf_foundation!

Even more humbling, this accomplishment places me among the TOP 10 highest-fundraising honorees in the 31-year history of Pittsburgh’s 50 Finest! Together, our incredible class raised $622,783 toward finding a cure for cystic fibrosis.

When I began this journey, I didn’t have a personal connection to anyone living with cystic fibrosis. Today, I do. I’ve had the privilege of meeting and becoming friends with some truly extraordinary people whose lives are directly impacted by this disease.

People like my fellow Deloitte colleague, Peter Hodge, who has two daughters living with cystic fibrosis. Thanks to incredible advancements in research and treatment, his family is now preparing to welcome their first grandchild — something he once never thought would be possible.

And my sweet friend @willig_sydney, who graciously shared her story at our @1846farms party. Getting to know her and so many others in the CF community has given this mission an entirely new meaning.

Because behind every dollar raised is a person, a family, a story, and hope for a future that once seemed impossible.

What began as a fundraising commitment became something so much greater. It became friendships, perspective, purpose, and a powerful reminder of just how much good we can accomplish when we come together. To every single person who donated, purchased a @lukebryan x @1846farms T-shirt, shared a post, spread the word, or simply encouraged me along the way — THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART. I am forever grateful for this experience, the people it brought into my life, and the opportunity to play even a small part in helping create a future where every person living with cystic fibrosis has the chance to live a long, healthy, and fulfilling life.

Here’s to continuing to do good, giving back, and one day making CF stand for Cure Found. 💙

600 bites, one vital mission. ✨

I am returning for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s “A Passion for Wine” gala at the Sheraton Station Square on November 20th.

Every year, this event brings together an incredible community to raise critical funding for lifesaving research, medical advancements, and vital support for families navigating #CF.

To help drive that mission forward, I am pouring my heart into this year’s menu, handcrafting 300 sweet and 300 dessert Southern Heritage canapés.

Southern food is built on resilience, storytelling and depth. Bringing those ancestral flavors into a room entirely united to fund a cure for #cysticfibrosis gives every single ingredient a deeper, more profound purpose.

There are moments in a career when you realize the road ahead was built, in part, by those who believed in you before there was anything impressive to announce.

This is one of those moments.

From the beginning, my work has never simply been about beautiful cakes or extraordinary food. It has been about hospitality, dignity, artistry, service and creating something meaningful that lasts beyond the final bite.

To those who trusted me with your celebrations, families, milestones and memories—who returned, referred me, encouraged me and spoke my name in rooms I wasn’t in—you helped build this foundation.

And now, I’m honored to share what’s next.

November 20, 2026 — I return to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation @cff_wpa as a Recurrent Featured Chef, creating 300 bespoke hors d’oeuvres and 300 dessert canapés. Excellence may earn an invitation; trust earns another.

January 24, 2027 — My mother and I begin our culinary residency at UPMC Presbyterian’s Kamin Tower, bringing our work into a place centered on care, nourishment and community.

And this month, I have been entrusted with another extraordinary commission—one I cannot reveal just yet.

Three commissions. Three distinct stages. One body of work.

Different rooms. Different purposes. The same standard.

As the rooms become larger, I remain committed to making sure the purpose never becomes smaller.

To every customer, client, advocate and person who opened a door, invited me back or believed my work belonged somewhere greater: thank you for seeing me.

And to my mother and husband, who walk into this next chapter beside me—what a remarkable thing it is to see where our story is going.

I am grateful.

I have raised almost $12,000 for @cff_wpa through my @pgh50finest campaign and it has been one of the most rewarding things that I have done. I have a little less than 6 weeks until the gala and I have decided to shoot for my stretch goal of $15,000.
