POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Two days in Scottsdale with the legendary Steve Chandler. What a gift it was.

Steve is known for his work on client enrollment, so having him fully in the room with us for this CFJ Coaching Success School Intensive focusing entirely on the craft of coaching itself felt rare and special.

His wisdom landed the way it always does: deeply, clearly, and wrapped in that perfectly dry wit that made the whole room laugh while simultaneously taking notes. That’s a gift. To make something both entertaining and genuinely transformative at the same time.

And then there was the moment no one expected—Steve picked up a guitar and played a song for the room. Pure magic. A reminder that the man contains multitudes, and that the best teachers always surprise you.

What made it even richer was the room itself. So many brilliant, heart-centered coaches gathered in one place. Familiar faces, warm reunions, and that particular energy that only happens when people who love this work come together.

Two days well spent. Full heart. Grateful beyond words.

Thank you, Steve. Thank you, Carolyn, and the entire CFJ Team! ❤️

When I joined the CFJ Coaching Success School, I wasn’t just starting a business—I was rebuilding a life.

Burnout. Seizures. Starting over after losing my home.

What I found wasn’t just strategy or structure.

It was an apprenticeship of the heart.

Over four years with @cfjcoaching , here’s what changed:

✨ I went from surviving to 3 years seizure-free
✨ I filled a full roster of 13 1:1 clients
✨ I built financial clarity and sustainable systems
✨ And I finally stopped over-functioning—and started rooting

If you’ve ever thought:
“I should already know this” or
“I just need one more certification…” —
this story is for you.

Because building something meaningful isn’t about knowing.

It’s about becoming—again and again.

In a world that moves fast, our nervous systems crave moments of stillness and restoration. One of the simplest ways to calm the body and mind is by spending time in nature—feeling the sun on your skin, listening to the wind in the trees, or arranging handful of flowers with care.

Flowers remind us to slow down, to notice, to appreciate. When we connect to beauty, we are also connecting to something greater.

So maybe today take a breath, gather a few blooms. Let their presence be a reminder that beauty is always here, waiting for us to notice.

Coaches: This event will serve you!

✨ Awakening the Wisdom Within: The Relevance of Spiritual Understanding for a Professional Practice ✨

It’s a joy to share about this important event supporting Shannon Lloyd of @onefieldus, a solid force in the coaching world and a valued colleague. Shannon has been diagnosed with prostate cancer and is on a healing journey.

To help support Shannon, a highly respected, generous group of coaches are hosting a special fundraiser on Saturday, September 21st, from 9 AM to 3 PM Pacific time. The event features some of the most successful and depthful coaches I know, including Angus and Rohini Ross, Drs. Bill and Linda Pettit, Carolyn Freyer-Jones, Jonny Roman, Stephen McGhee, Dr. Amy Johnson, and Aila Coats—the next guest on Behind-the-Scenes for Coaches!

100% of all ticket and raffle purchases will go directly to Shannon’s healing and recovery. It’s truly a win-win-win situation: you’ll gain valuable insights, deepen your spiritual understanding, and support a colleague who has made a significant impact in our community.

Whether you’re a coach, counselor, teacher, healer, or simply someone seeking to connect with inner wisdom, this event will serve you well. Join us in this meaningful cause.

It was an honor to meet Steve Chandler, The God Father of coaching in person this weekend at the CFJ coaching success school. I’ve listened to his simple yet powerful audios, books, been on a couple of live virtual calls with him and nothing replaces having him in front of the room teaching and coaching us for an entire day - it was fun, transformative, and inspiring.

Feeling grateful for Carolyn and the faculty - for creating a fun and safe space to learn, experiment, and be in action more than I’ve ever been with my business. It’s been expansive, uncomfortable, scary, exciting, joyful, messy… and fun!

I feel blessed I get to learn from the best master coaches in this profession - they are heart centered and all is done from a place of service and integrity.

Steve and carolyn, thank you for following your curiosity, creativity that led you to create your visions .. it’s been a contribution to all us coaches in the CFJ school this year which has had a ripple effect… our clients, families, friends and more 🌟

And the loving and supportive community is irreplaceable 🙌

This Monday I'll celebrate 3 years since I quit my job and launched my full-time coaching practice: Win At Work.

Making the leap was scary. Over the last three years there have been ups and there have been downs. And it was one of the best decisions I've ever made.

I've had a chance to serve the most amazing and inspiring clients.
I've had a chance to connect with the most incredible colleagues.
I've had a chance to learn and grow in ways I never imagined.

A TON of people have helped me a long the way and none more so than my coach Carolyn Freyer-Jones. Coaches are always cautious about knowing anything with 100% certainty and I am 100% sure that I would not have had nearly the success I've had without her teaching and coaching.

Carolyn has come out with a new book today. It's incredible and it offers so much of what I've been working to master over the last three years in my coaching practice.

COACHING FRIENDS (and anybody who is interested): I cannot recommend this book highly enough. Check. It. Out. http://tinyurl.com/5n935tuz

We did a thing today. One of the cool things about living in Los Angeles is the Rose Bowl Parade that happens every New Year’s Day. It’s been happening every year since 1890! This year, I organize a group of us to go and volunteer to help decorate the floats.

The directions they sent to volunteer were a bit intimidating and we really didn’t know what we were getting into. However, it was a really cool experience and we had a lot of fun together.

For one hour, we placed tops on hundreds of vials that will hold individual roses on the floats. Then for two hours we cut yellow petals off of dried flowers so the petals can be glued on the yellow belly of a dragon that will be on one of the floats.

It was mind boggling how much work goes into this every year and it really couldn’t happen if there weren’t hundreds of volunteers helping. We were thrilled to be a small part of history today. I’d cut dry flowers with these people any day!

Thanks to @amymhruby for getting us together as volunteers to prep the Rose Bowl floats! The first Rose Bowl parade was in 1890!
