Development is not a straight line… when adversity hits that’s when your character will be exposed. Do you fight through trials and tribulation? Or do you cower when things get hard.

At Journey we develop not only the physical tools that help you in the game but the mental tools to help your game last.

You know they say 1v1 is not real basketball and I can agree to a certain extent. Competing should always be the intention.

Here we apply rules so that the environment allows us to learn organically.

Marchan is a rising junior wing for @ntboyshoops whom we covered during the 2026 @newjerseylegacy Team Camp.

Marchan’s value to his team is his high motor and versatile skillset. He’s the type of player every coach would want on their team. He doesn’t need the ball to impact the game.

He fills the lanes in transition, where he can finish with either hand for a layup or dunk. You have to keep a body on him in the half court because he’s constantly cutting backdoor for scoring opportunities.

Marchan puts constant pressure on the rim looking to get a bucket for himself or find a teammate beyond the arc once he draws multiple defenders. He also displayed the ability to knock down a catch-and-shoot three. Marchan is clearly the glue to this team. We want to see him continue to build on top of his skillset these next couple of years.
