The last three days, I’ve tried to put my sisterhood into words, but there will never be enough time or words to explain what my sisters truly mean to me.

Thank you, AOII, for always lifting me up, making me laugh, keeping a smile on my face, and giving me friendships I know will last a lifetime. I’m forever grateful to call you my sisters. 🩷🫶🌹

To every PNM going through recruitment, I hope you find a home that feels like Alpha Omicron Pi to me. A group of people that loves you through the hard days, makes the good days even better, and gives you sisters who make you wonder how you lived before having them in your life.

Alpha Omicron Pi,

Thank you for giving me the genuine sisterhood I always prayed I would find, a group of women who love, encourage, support and show up for one another through every season of life. I have always wanted friendships where I could pour into my friends as much as they poured into me and for the first time, I feel like I have truly found that. Each of my sisters lives out what it means to be a Proverbs 31:25 woman: “She is clothed with strength and dignity; and she laughs without fear of the future.” I see that strength, kindness, confidence and love in every one of them and I am so grateful to call them my sisters.

Francesca, thank you for being the best bump partner and, even more importantly, one of my very best friends. One of my favorite stories I got to tell the PNMs was about the night you showed me exactly what genuine sisterhood looks like. Just a few days ago, in true Francesca fashion, you got us matching panda mugs and made hot chocolate with me after I had a really hard day. It may seem like such a small moment but it meant the world to me and is something I will always remember. That is the kind of friendship I have always wanted, someone who notices when I need a little extra love and chooses to show up for me.

Channing and Emma, thank you for being our rocks and the best rotation heads throughout this whole process. Thank you for keeping us grounded, encouraging us through every moment and making sure we always felt supported. Our bump group could not have asked for better people to guide us through this experience and I am so grateful for everything you have done for us.

PC ’26, you are already so beyond loved and I hope you know how excited we are to welcome you into this sisterhood. I cannot wait for you to run home and experience the kind of love, friendship and support that makes AOII so incredibly special. You have no idea how many amazing women are waiting to meet you and I cannot wait to call you my sisters 💐💛🥹
