Proud BIG BRO moment…. My 1st Baby Sister is officially done with cosmetology school 🤪🎉😂🎉🍾. The HARD part is officially over. Tis is something you worked so hard for and it’s finally come to pass. From begging you at 14 to twist my hair … to now you have done over several styles now.
I couldn’t be more proud.

Waking up this morning and reflecting on the last 11 months of my beauty school journey..
I truly cannot believe that it has come to a close.. It has been a long and what I thought was a “distant” dream of mine to attend @avedainstitutesouthflorida for cosmetology. I didn’t know if I could do it at 34 years old, I was scared that my brain wouldn’t work the same as it did when I was in HS and college all those years ago. But what I learned was that my brain DIDN’T work the same but that it was okay.. because everything I was doing in beauty school came straight from my HEART. The passion I kept deep down and tucked away was able to emerge and shine bright. I was able to be who I really wanted to be without question and without judgement. And for that I am so GRATEFUL.
The days were hard, the weeks were long and the months seemed to pile on top of each other. but I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything.
Thank you to everyone who helped me along the way, cheered me on from afar and to new friends and colleagues I’ve attained from this experience.
I Finally DID IT!!! 🎉🎓✂️😆
