PORTWAVE

“Home is the speed of sound, travelling between the last heartbeat and the first light”

As what this quote summarises, Portwave is an artist that truly lives with his music, as if from the first light til his last heartbeat. Inseparable best friends.

As one of the key names of the witch house scene and his unique ethereal melodical sound, Portwave is the headliner of this global online live event. You may know him from the ladies in the shadows, or the shadows in ladies.

For a little while, the shadow can wait. Here, we belong to the sound. This artist is specifically good at showing how much he feels the speed and stamina of his music in his live performances, a true author of his creation, and one day we really hope to see him in London, despite not being a part of our Winter IRL festival.

As self described by the author, this artists musical experience is like a palette between rage and apathy. What is important is, he remains the warrior / fighter of this challenge, well known for with his metallic costume that shines as bright as his enchanting tracks that cling with us.

EXIDY

“To /OUTLOVE/ the world, you must first survive everything it teaches you to hate.”

An intensity that cannot be contained, a love that refuses to become quiet.

Exidy is a master of outloving, of giving more than the world expects, feeling more than the heart can comfortably hold, and turning every contradiction into something fiercely alive in his music. There is nothing passive about this kind of devotion and it shows in his beautiful witch house tracks. It burns, consumes, and demands to be felt in its entirety.

Through their sound, tenderness isn’t dangerous, it is a force that refuses to apologize for its existence once and for all. In a world that teaches us to protect ourselves by feeling less, Exidy dares to feel everything.

Some hearts learn to close. Others learn to expand and love even harder.

BUSE SIMON

“Hell is on earth, so after accepting this, it’s completely up to you to find the opposite on earth, before it all ends. Fear is only in our minds.”

This Virtual Production Supervisor is hunting on the musical territories for collective good & she’s connecting the dots like a true professional. In real-time, in the real world engine. The chain reaction’s essence reminds her how to smile.

VIOLET7RIP

“Even the most beautiful things carry the memory of everything that tried to destroy them.”

Violet7rip’s tracks inhabit that heavy fragile space, where tenderness becomes inseparable from pain. Their music feels like a memory slowly dissolving ; familiar enough to hurt, distant enough to become something almost unreal. But right now, we are in real world mania— Remotely; embracing some universal sadness together, on our own. 4 days away.

There is a strange beauty in things that do not last. Perhaps their fragility is precisely what makes them worth holding onto. Perhaps even the things that break us leave behind something beautiful, hidden in the places we rarely dare to look.

Not everything broken has forgotten how to bloom, and Violet7rip’s music captures this essence.

SCYTHE

“Some flames never learn to die; they only become better at bringing masses of light to the mass of the dark.”

There is something that remains long after everything else has turned to ash. A pulse beneath the ruins, a spark that refuses to surrender to the cold. Scythe carries the feeling of something still burning ; not the bright, innocent fire of beginnings, but the stubborn flame that survives every attempt to extinguish it.

Through their sound, the darkness becomes a place where persistence takes shape

The ashes may have settled.

But something is still burning.

IMITATIONOFMANE

“A utopia is not a final destination of this spaceship, but a fierce ride on a journey in a world we /refuse/ to stop believing in.”

In a world that has long forgotten how to dream, this artist refuses to stop believing in a utopia. Even when reality offers nothing but decayed noises, there remains a quiet insistence that something more beautiful can exist beyond it. This simple ideation of creative imagination lets this artists music feels like a transmission from a world that has not yet been born, a glimpse of a future that refuses to surrender to the present. Perhaps utopia is not the absence of darkness, but the courage to imagine something beyond it. This artist is certainly exploring territories fearlessly like an astronaut. But unlike space, he leaves a lot of traces with his wave / phonk / witch house tracks here with us in real world mania.

Some dreams survive because we believe in them. Others survive because we have nothing left to believe in. This artist makes no distinction between the two, and the story arc is certainly intriguing.
