🏁 CVMA Round 1 – Formula 50 Open Class Race Recap 🏁
Yesterday, we competed in Round 1 of CVMA in the Formula 50 Open Class, going up against a grid of 1000cc bikes as the only 600cc bike on the grid! 💪🏍️
We fought hard and brought home a 12th-place finish. While it wasn’t the result we were hoping for, we’re proud to be out there competing, pushing ourselves, and learning with every race.
We’re still fighting through an injury to the right ankle, which made cornering right a real challenge this weekend. Despite the pain and obstacles, we kept pushing forward. The goal is to heal up, get back to 100%, and come back stronger than ever! 🔥
A huge THANK YOU to my family, friends, and everyone who continues to support this journey. Your encouragement means more than you know!
🙏 Special thanks to my sponsors for being part of the journey: 🏁 ChaChaCha Motorsports 🏁 Envy Racing Apparel 🏁 Dunlop Tires 🏁 Vortex Racing 🏁 Suomy Helmets 🏁 CaliPhotography 🏁 Roadracing.Life
The results don’t always tell the whole story. Sometimes, the biggest victory is showing up, pushing through adversity, and refusing to give up.
We’re not done yet! The comeback continues. 💪🏁

Last weekend was pretty intense and even though I won the main event I can’t say I was the fastest guy out there.
Sometimes I just don’t feel good with a win when I don’t really think it was mine.
Have to command @maxwrist … great progress buddy, but don’t get used to it…. I’m coming back.

Another weekend with @race_cra …. Have to say I came in a bit timid due to multiple brake failures couple of weeks ago but started to get my confidence back as the weekend progressed.
Considering the conditions I think we did pretty good …. Podium in every race is always good.

Last weekend was a bit sketchy …. For some weird reason I kept losing my brakes at the same corner.
Not gonna lie…. Losing your brakes approaching a corner at 120 mph makes u soil your undies a little.
Went through changing master cylinder… change brake fluid… change brake pads … clean calipers …. And nothing helped.
So I bought new calipers from @bpr__racing and that solved the problem.
The weekend was gone to shit but at least now I know the bike works well again.
Hopefully next week with @race_cra we will have better luck.

CRA RD2 Recap:
Race 1: DNS going on to the sighting lap the bike had no power and was stuck on low RPM was definitely not the move to risk the problem after blowing one engine earlier this week.

Race 2: P2 finished, started the race with a horrible launch managed to battle back for P2 no chance to compete for P1

Race 3: DNF felt good really good going into the race fought hard early had good battles for P2 and felt we had pace to catch or stay within reach of P1 unfortunately rookie mistake lost it all running out of gas 🫠

By far the worst race weekends. Despite that I had blast with friends and sharing the track with talented fast guys. Thank you Keenan for saving this race weekend with the engine. Thank you to Ivan for always having our back even when being hell of busy and over worked. Time to hit the lab and get better see ya soon 🤓

Promised the girls they’ll get to see daddy race …. Had to make sure I get back to them safe so took it a bit easy on the track.
Still managed to bring some bling for my babies.
Thank you @afmracing for such a fun weekend.
