A little recap on the best weekend ever 🥹

Thank you everyone for joining us for a wonderful weekend at Chimps Camp. I hope you’ve gone home with a mindful of memories and little moments to cherish.

For me personally, Chimps Camp was never supposed to be a cheap getaway. It’s a gateway into camping, something I am so passionate about. A chance to slow down and reconnect with your little ones, with no time constraints, no rushing and no chores. Our overarching mission at Chimps is to make parenthood a little less scary, and give everyone the village they need. Chimps Camp is a great way to see this in action (and more!).

For me personally, I’m so proud of what we have achieved this year. Our amazing team has worked so hard to make Chimps magical - thank you to everyone who has worked behind the scenes to bring this vision to life, your efforts are so valued and I’ve SO many people say they’re converted to camping, so we’ve achieved what we set out to do 🤜🤛

Even from last year, the improvements have been incredible, from the facilities on site (the bar, the improved showers and beauty station), but also more sessions, more crafting, more activities, dance lessons, tuff trays, Olympics and an impromptu rave. Each of these things have taken so much preparation and I’m so grateful for the team we have who have jointly made this happen. It’s a weekend in time for you guys, but this is a result of months and months of planning for us.

Chimps Camp in its current form is a new concept, and we are making lots of changes and adapting as we go. Some of the changes might not make sense, but I promise each and every decision has our wonderful customers at its heart, and we are committed to making Chimps Camp accessible, affordable and sustainable – a tough balance to reach.

We are already hard at work refining and planning for next year, and we hope you’ll be joining us again.

But for now, THANK YOU! I personally feel so grateful to be able to combine all of the things I love (Chimps, camping, connecting with nature and even a little bit of bass 😜).

I know I’m leaving with a fuller heart – I hope you are too 🧡

If your little one is heading off to school this September, we’d love to celebrate with them! 💛

If you’re coming to Friday’s session in Old Stratford and would like your child to receive a special Graduation Certificate, please send us a WhatsApp or click on the poll to let us know.

Also, if you haven’t already, please book your place online as this class is getting busier and we’d hate for anyone to miss out.

We can’t wait to celebrate this exciting milestone with you all! 🎉🎓

💚 A very special announcement from Ness & Sasha... 💚
After 18 wonderful years, I've made the decision to retire from Cha Char Chimps this September. After 13 amazing years, Sasha will be joining me too.
Many years ago, we promised each other that if one of us ever decided it was time to leave, we'd go out together... and now that time has come.
It's time to hang up our bunny ears, put away the wiggly woos, wind up our bobbins, and begin some new adventures. For me, that's more golf, gardening and crochet, while Sasha will be spending more time doing what she does so brilliantly doing what she does so brilliantly - helping and inspiring young people through teaching.

This Friday at Old Stratford Community Hall will be our very last session together, and although there may be a few tears, we're so excited that the fabulous Jade will be taking over from September. We know she'll continue the fun, dancing and magic that Cha Char Chimps is all about. 💚
This isn't goodbye though! I'll still be helping Kirsty from Cha Cha Chimps Towcester with our annual Chimps Camp (in just a few weeks!) and we're hoping to hold a few more music sessions in the marquee at our farm in Silverstone too.
Cha Char Chimps Head Office will continue in the safe hands of the wonderful Sue from Aylesbury, keeping everything firmly within the Cha Cha Chimps family.
To every family who's laughed, danced, sung and grown with us over the years - thank you 🙏. Watching your little ones grow has been the greatest privilege of our lives, and we'll treasure those memories forever. ❤️
With all our love,
Ness & Sasha 🐵💚

🙋‍♀️ Hands up... the weather has finally got to us! 🥵

Unfortunately, we're cancelling tomorrow's session at Old Stratford due to the heat.

But don't worry! 💚 Jade will still be running a session at Newton Leys Pavilion at 10:00am. This will be a slower-paced session, perfect if you just need to get out of the house, stretch your legs, and enjoy some company.

Stay safe, and @chacharchimpsjade hopes to see some of you there! 💪😊

My Chimps 2026 Bingo Card

As 2025 approaches the end and we begin 2026, I thought I’d add some things I’d like to do next year, Chimps edition.

1. Drink more water - I need to remember drink more when I run a session. Headaches are not fun!
2. Read more stories - I’ve really enjoyed reading the children Christmas stories in the break so definitely want to keep that up.
3. Add more songs - love to mix it up a bit.
4. More birthday parties - I honestly love running a party. Hit me up if want me to provide entertainment!
5. Chimps Camp 2026 - It was fun this year!
6. Make different flavoured tiffin - What do you think?!
7. Make more themed sessions - It gets my creative juices flowing.
8. Worry less about making social media content - To be seen, I try to post every other day. I need to stop stressing about what I post on here.
9. Keep being me - just continue being your authentic self because the kids love it!

What’s on your 2026 bingo card?
