Middle School Summer Camps!!!
We had two weeks of camp this summer for middle schoolers, & as usual it was a good time!!! Karaoke, games, puzzles, gardening, water play, dancing, art, therapy dog (Elvira), food, & FRIENDS💕🎉 this is what it’s all about, & we are so happy to be a small part in the lives of these amazing campers each year. All of the middle school group has been with us since they were littles, & it’s like homecoming each year. It’s a privilege to watch them grow into teens & see all the amazing things they are doing!! Thanks to our team of counselors who make the magic happen & create joyful memories for our campers🎉

Sharing a few of the brilliant reviews and features we secured for London-based Brazilian multi-instrumentalist @momoofficial and his new album ‘Tum Tum Tum’.

Blending Brazilian rhythms with jazz, folk and indie influences, ‘Tum Tum Tum’ is a beautifully crafted record that has been earning some fantastic support from the press.

A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to listen, review and feature the album. 💚

Another absolutely amazing week of summer camp !!!! Thankful for beautiful weather, awesome counselors, cool kids, & the magic of nature☀️ Jenny Peet has created a whimsical oasis at her home that promotes exploration, adventure, & learning. It’s a space where we all connect with the outdoors & the campers try things out of their comfort zone. We are so blessed to have such compassionate, patient, fun, & kind people to share these moments with — thank you all for making summer a little brighter💛💛

Join us for another #GHCoStories event on Wednesday, December 18 at 7 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. CT. @chachimoss, associate editor at @spinmag will be our guest. We’ll cover the Year in Hip Hop, Spin’s coverage of Hip Hop and more.

Check the link in bio or our Story / #GHCoStories Highlight for the link.

Did you know that Spin published its first print issue in August after twelve years as an online-only publication or that covering Hip Hop in its early days helped set it apart?

@walterdgreason from @macalestercollege and Tim Fielder (aka @dieselfunk), the author and illustrator of The Graphic History of Hip Hop will cover these issues and more.

The December issue of Spin (the print version comes out Tuesday, December 17) includes a piece written by Charlie about The Graphic History of Hip Hop.

@neilparekh, Vice President of Events and Communications at @digimentors, will produce the show and moderate the discussion.

We’ll be live on Instagram AND Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter and the Graphic History Company website.

"Emmett and His Crazy Creepy Granny Music" by Emmett Moss

Here it is! Emmett made this song about an afraid😱, sad😔, angry😠, and tired🥱 emotional state. We talked about taking deep breaths, drawing, or watching TV to help regulate these feelings. Way to go buddy! Photo credit to @oli_ro_ 📷

130 THEATER VIEWS OF OPPENHEIMER! What an amazing biopic of J. Robert Oppenheimer! I traveled to LA twice to see it in 70mm IMAX (20 times) & had the privilege of touring both the TCL Chinese Theater and AMC City Walk projection booths. Thank you so much Taylor, Jyun, Jesiey & Charlie!! This 3hr 9sec movie is 11miles & 600lbs+ of film 😱 The weight of this film (no pun intended) is heavy... I truly appreciate learning about his life and his involvement with the Manhattan Project. It was really informative and lined up pretty well with the book (American Prometheus). I absolutely loved Emily Blunt's performance as Kitty Oppenheimer 🔥 #oppenheimer #universal #70mmIMAX #IMAX #cinephile #art #film #vacation #travel #instagood #love #photooftheday
