Hi friends! Chad and Kristin here. We haven’t shown our faces in a while (largely because we’re so bad at taking photos 😅) but wanted to put a face to the name for those we haven’t met in person yet.

This photo was taken by @grantgulla at the opening for SENSE OF PLACE - our collaborative project with Amin Tadj Studio that officially wrapped up yesterday.

After spending the past three months at Ohayo Mountain House, it really started to feel like a second home. One with modern sensibilities that still managed to be warm and intimate. Even our dog, Evie, loved it (see slide two 😂).

@amintadj you are a true visionary and we feel incredibly lucky for the chance to work with you and @shahab_h_f on this project. Hopefully more to come on that front!

Our hearts are full from an enchanting evening at Ohayo Mountain House celebrating the opening of SENSE OF PLACE*.

Thank you @amintadj for giving us this incredible opportunity and to all of the designers and artists for believing in this project. It was a labor of love but we are immensely proud of the results and the beautiful symbiosis between well-crafted objects and thoughtfully designed architecture. We are constantly blown away by the amount of talented folks in our orbit and are profoundly grateful to call the Hudson Valley home.

Thank you @grantgulla for capturing the moment, @cheeselouiseny for the delicious spread and @deweyswines for the delightful vino!

Love letter to Philly 💌

The City of Brotherly Love has had a special place in my heart ever since I was 18. It’s where I lived post-college (in half a dozen neighborhoods with half a dozen jobs in under 2 years if you can believe it 😂). And now I get to experience it in a different way visiting my dear friend who now calls it home with her husband.

It still has the same layer of charming grit and human scale architecture that I love, now paired with a new crop of world-class art institutions (Barnes Foundation, Calder Gardens) and exciting creative entrepreneurs (@duddhaus, @stick.ball, @helloyowie and @rarify to name a few).

I’m always energetized by the town and this trip over Halloweeen weekend with some of my favorite humans was no exception.

Still savoring the beautiful evening hosted by @odettewilliams and @mill last Friday. Nothing beats a relaxed dinner with friends in a gorgeous setting but we also loved the chance to meet other Hudson Valley entrepreneurs we admire.

@ghislaine_vinas was the first person to introduce us to Mill’s food recycler and we’re officially smitten. It’s smart and sleek and a fantastic way for everyone to do their part in reducing food waste. 💛

A lovely weekend spent with old and new (no literally) friends all spending their lives dedicated to diving more deeply into creative expression, pleasure and indulgent experiences — together.

What I can say is this: getting off our phones and into spaces together is the most indulgent and regenerative effort we can do together and for each other.

What a delicious and lively time at the stunning and delightful @odettewilliams home just north of me. So many familiar and new faces came together on the most lively autumnal weekend.

Thank you @odettewilliams and @mill @monacreative for having us all. ❤️
