Spent the day getting lost among the blooms at Chadwick & Sons Orchids @chadwick_orchids in Virginia 🌸
Hummingbirds in the garden, greenhouses overflowing with flowers, Cattleyas everywhere, and a peek at the baby orchids growing up. And yes, I came home with a haul 💜

Which one would you pick?

Thank you to the Virginia Tourism Corporation for joining us for a tour of Powhatan County! We loved the opportunity to showcase just a small portion of the incredible businesses, attractions, and experiences that make Powhatan such a special destination.

Our tour included stops at Maxey's Store, Bienvenue, Chadwick & Son Orchids Inc, Independence Golf Club, Fine Creek Brewing Company, Fine Creek Provisions and Cottages, and Three Crosses Distilling Company, with a delicious lunch at Wild Ginger along the way!

We’re excited to share a few behind-the-scenes moments from the day and give you a glimpse at what is to discover in Powhatan. 💙

Thank you for spending the day with us and experiencing Powhatan hospitality! We hope you’ll come back and visit again soon! Virginia is for Lovers

Our first big Speaker Series this fall is on Cattleyas! Come watch and listen to Art Chadwick present Large-Flowered Cattleyas and why they are the queens of the orchid world.

Art is the definitive expert of large Cattleyas in North America, and he is the author of “The Classic Cattleyas.” He has won countless awards for his beautiful orchids and has named and created many hybrids. He has made guest appearances on television with Martha Stewart, and he has named and presented several awarded orchids after the wives of the past 6 Presidents of the United States. He is the owner of @chadwick_orchids and @chadwickorchidretail .

This will be an incredibly busy event! Our monthly Wednesday meetups are packed full of blooming display tables, orchid raffles, guest speakers, and more. You must message us if you want to see any membership events as a guest visitor. Visitor spots are few, so DM quickly to reserve a spot. See you Wednesday!
