I know it’s a cliché in restaurants to say your coworkers are your family, but when you’ve spent the better part of a decade trauma bonding over chaotic dinners, nightmarish brunches, flooding ceilings, a global pandemic, exploding steak sauce bottles, bomb threats, belligerent Postmates drivers, a man who will not stop shitting on the sidewalk, and a powerful woman known only as Juice, you have no choice but to become one.

I would say this is goodbye, but as most people who quit Kismet can attest… it’s never really goodbye. Also, I truly don’t know how to feed myself every day without family meal and I’m really hungry so I’ll probably come by this week.
