Yesterday I lost my best friend, someone who was going to be my best man in my wedding, a friend who became family. I never could have imagined you leaving us so early. There are so many dreams and adventures that will never be fulfilled. It has been a long and painful night trying to understand why all this happened and how it happened so quick where I couldn't say a real goodbye. I dont think I will ever truly understand or come to terms with anything, but I will say that I hope everyone can cherish the relationships they have with people that are here. There is so much I feel like I need to talk to him about and I just cant do that anymore. Please hold the people closest to you closer while you still can. To everyone that knew and loved Cole, I understand how you feel and I promise we will get through even though that sounds completely unreasonable and impossible right now. Grieve as much and as long as you need to, whether its watching old music videos, scrolling through texts, looking at old pictures, or praying. Cole will live on through his amazing family and everyone that knew him. Cole will always be my best friend and my brother and I hope we will meet again.
