📖 Today’s reading: Genesis 16; Genesis 21:8–21
🌺 Today’s Crowned in Courage: Women Who Changed History, we sit with the story of Hagar — a woman who was silenced, mistreated, and cast out.
But in the wilderness, she encountered the God who sees.
Her story reminds us that even when people fail to value us, God calls us by name.

Takeaways from Hagar’s story:
• God doesn’t overlook those the world casts out.
• Even in the wilderness, He sees, hears, and provides.
• You are not what happened to you — you are who God calls you to be.

📖Today’s reading: Ruth 1–4; Matthew 1:5
(Sorry ya girl was busy today, no photos .. but it’s a good one!)

Today in Crowned in Courage: Women Who Changed History, we meet Ruth -
a woman whose quiet obedience and covenant loyalty positioned her in the lineage of kings.

Her story shows us that faithfulness in the unknown can lead to redemption far beyond what we imagine.

Takeaways from Ruth’s story:
• Obedience in the ordinary creates space for legacy.
• God honors covenant loyalty, even when it’s costly.
• Outsiders are never outside God’s redemptive plan.

Before the missionaries came, the Kapu system was abolished — not by accident, but by divine timing. God was preparing the land and the people for the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Today, as we honor Earth Week, let’s not forget the Creator in our care for creation.

Genesis 2:15 — “The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.”
Leviticus 25:23 — “The land is mine and you are but foreigners and tenants.”
Isaiah 1:16–17 — “Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight; stop doing wrong. Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed…”

God doesn’t want empty rituals. He wants repentance, reverence, and restoration.
Let’s return to the Creator and steward this ʻāina in love and truth.

Being Born Again in HIM, comes with a completely different rule book. Opening your Bible to read scripture, meditate on the word and then gain understanding is actually apart of the process.

In Peter it says 2 Peter 1:3-4 NLT

By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. [4] And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.
