Our debut album Knots is out now on @laurenrecords ❤️ I wrote Colors when I was 17 and Find You when I was 25. This album really captures the range and time of Dogs on Shady Lane in a beautiful way. We were lucky enough to work with so many incredible people to make this record what it is. Thank you all for being a part of this journey. Forever grateful for this project 🌱🌳

so basically i am in Love… and love makes you do crazy things. in two weeks i am leaving providence for richmond va. i’ve been here for 7 years… 7 extremely special years. i love this city. & i love new england. some of my literal wildest dreams have come true via the friends i have made here. i owe everything to my friends. here’s some sweet memories from over the years - this is a truly impossible task to sum up my experiences that could fill many books into just 20 photos.

to my family in Bochek, Nova One, Gymshorts, the JS/C7 crew, heaven’s ex, cursor, tree ppl, the days at the garden (lydia, cody, and amelia) throwing some of my favorite shows of all time, to the insane wrestling matches that we definitely should have been deeply fined or maybe even arrested for hosting, many night spent at the news café, nolan’s corner pub (best bartender Jesse Smith!), deadbeats for always hosting an epic parking lot show, troop for hosting Wrestlefest 1+2, the best and the worst DIY shows, Beavertail state park, carr pond, Asian bakery, the rooftop on vinton street, the cow palace, Pete’s house, cal’s house, theresa court, luongo square, laura motley and her son hank, everyone at primrose street, sky tanner, nico chace, addie thibeault (send me pics of us together guys please) michael coles & recording cursor at hathaway the slanty shanty, tammany hall, Dexter park, out of control BBQ on dexter street, zoë & james (Popfest rules!), sona, ding , ping, raisin, binx, violet, bentley & thelma, bernie & dave (never met yall but) Big nice studio, balloon thief & baby muffler & 4D8K, the ravi shavi crew, the joy boys, thursday crew, Dogwalker, runner, airbag, Zack Davey, all of my family, the love of my life Bethany C Bruner (and her lovely sisters), Rock and Roll lobotomy, Adam howe for being an epic roommate and true friend & rocker, free 7 stars for life, & every barista that i have any sort of relationship to that has given me free coffees over the years, newport festivals for better or for worse, Every friend i have made from Tiverton RI, and my cat sona once again who literally beat death in 2020. i love you all so much. I’ll be back soon.

bochek’s 3rd LP ‘Body of Work’ is here, at long last. throughout this whole releasing process i’ve been taken by nostalgia. for all of us, this band was everything for a time. for all of us, this band brought us to completely new and different places in life. all the chips were down. i love my bochek brothers. and i’m so proud of this ‘new’ collection of songs. these have been incubating for quite some time, with some material spanning back to 2020, when we all lived together, and we were stuck picking up the pieces in lockdown. they then grew and took shape, during a week stint at @bignicestudio with our dear friend chaimes parker. the idea was that whatever we got done that week would be a new project. but, things started to change. new opportunities and horizons opened, the songs fell by the wayside, and our imminent hiatus eclipsed our efforts to make sense of this new batch. we decided to get under some microphones one last time together, in the winter of 2025, before one of our core left us for the foreseeable future. fast forward to now & i’m fast approaching my departure of providence. it feels kind of perfect that this project, which is really truly all we have left, is delivered at the end of my time here (for now?) i have more detailed musings on all of this on our bandcamp page. we love you oh so deeply, from the absolute bottom of our hearts. here is our body of work.

First weekend of recording our album is a wrap! Holy cow did we have a blast with @chaimes at @bignicestudio laying down some killer punk rock for you weirdos out there! We couldn’t recommend the studio and Chaimes more! Can’t wait to get back to it this weekend and then get y’all a chance to peep these tunes.
