DJ e producer di origini irano-venezuelane, Georgia è nata e cresciuta a Roma, ed è reduce da una lunga esperienza come DJ in Australia, dove ha trascorso nove anni della sua vita.
Proprio lì ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale e ha fondato @chains.events, un party dedicato all’Hard Techno che ha contribuito a definirne l’identità artistica.

Attualmente è resident DJ del @cantieridisco, club — punto di riferimento — della scena techno underground abruzzese.

#GeorgiaChains è nota per set potenti e ipnotici, costruiti su una forte tensione ritmica e un’attenta ricerca sonora. JKONGERZ 2024 wrapped:
45 gigs total, 24 different venues and 14 different genres...
(yes the corporate slave in me made a spreadsheet to obtain this data - see last slide 🤦🏻‍♀️)
…all while juggling a full time job, 2 part time jobs and some semblance of a family/social life - I definitely went insane 🤯

I dived into 2024 with zero expectations on what I wanted to do with my DJing and decided to treat it more as a hobby than a job. However, to my surprise, it turned into a year of debuts and I could not thank all my bookers enough for giving a fresh faced DJ the chance to leave a mark. 🤝

Being both female and Asian (and a dwarf 💀), I felt the incessant desire to do my absolute best to represent the minority groups in the DJ industry. Imposter syndrome was rife but I swiftly converted these feelings into gratitude for the opportunities to diversify the scene. Every gig I was assigned to was handled with a burning rigour and passion.

DJing presented both its highs and lows.
🤩Highs: the endorphin rush from smashing out a gig, dancing with friends, making new friends, creating the happiest memories, being exposed to different genres, learning from other DJs/producers and getting paid good coin for a hobby that I genuinely love!
😢Lows: sleep deprivation, late nights, stress/anxiety from set prep, overcoming the perceived judgement/danger and burnout.

To all the friends who supported me, please know how much this means to me - I love you all sooo much!!
To all the beautiful people I met along the way, I am honoured to have crossed paths and hope we can continue to strengthen our bond. ❤️

So what next for JKONGERZ?
2025 may see me dive into music production or perhaps take a seat back from DJing to work on a new passion project of mine…guess you will have to stay tuned to find out?! 😳
