Another fantastic Mission 1 Billion meetup in the books!

Last night, we had the opportunity to hear from Director/Producer Ramon Sloan and Cinematographer Vinnie Besaisie for an incredibly informative and insightful conversation about filmmaking and distribution.

Ramon shared valuable real-world experience on how he produces and distributes his films, the platforms he utilizes, and the strategies that have helped make his projects profitable. It was a great look at not only the creative side of filmmaking, but the business behind getting your work out into the world and building a sustainable career.

A huge thank you to Ramon and Vinnie for sharing their knowledge and experiences with our community, and thank you to everyone who came out and helped make another Mission 1 Billion meetup a success!

We continue to learn, connect, and grow together. 🎬

We are excited to start sharing more behind-the-scenes updates on the projects currently in post-production.

Over the next several days and weeks, we’ll be giving you a closer look at where each project stands and what’s happening as they continue to move toward completion.

First up is “The Road Taken” 🎞️

Post-production is still underway, and it’s exciting to finally be in the editing room more after all the planning, filming, and hard work that went into bringing this story to life.

There’s still plenty of work ahead from editing and sound design to visual effects and color grading,
but seeing everything come together has been incredibly rewarding.

Thank you to everyone who has supported The Road Taken so far. This is just the beginning of many progress updates to come.

Exciting conversations at the latest Mission One Billion Creator Network meetup! 🎬

It was great connecting with filmmakers, actors, writers, producers, and creatives from across Wisconsin to discuss the future of our state’s film industry. From new film incentives to growing production resources, it’s clear that Wisconsin filmmaking is gaining momentum, but there’s a lot of work to be done still ✅

The energy, collaboration, and ideas shared throughout the evening made one thing obvious: we’re not waiting for opportunities, we’re creating them.

Special thank you to Veronica Pope of the Wisconsin Film Office for speaking and giving all of us insight. You are greatly appreciated!
