Being a dance captain during the last competition season was the most unforgettable and meaningful role I’ve taken on yet. No Instagram carousel or story highlight can ever accurately encapsulate all the time we’ve put into this project, memories we’ve made and just how much we MISS it already! But, now that the next season is fast approaching, I have put together a collage as a little peak into what Разом was all about.

My aim of this concept was to show off the beauty, authenticity and infectious energy of Ukrainian culture. I wanted it to be BOLD and unique - from the choreography to costumes - while also preserving little details of Ukrainian tradition. Watching my vision come to life has been absolutely surreal and I am honestly obsessed with how intentional and symbolic every element of this piece is. One of my favorite memories of the year was showing or telling other Ukrainians about it and seeing their face light up as they recognize the music and the cultural references!

As we started rehearsing, I didn’t yet have a title for the concept. But very soon, I naturally felt the pull towards a name that highlights how united and ‘at home’ I felt with these beautiful souls. Hence, I named it Разом ❤️ On that note, I want to thank one last time to my talented and skilled dancers:
