It was brought to my attention that it's been a while since I have posted anything physical and i've been meaning to do this for sometime so here is the first of a few posts about the more specific games that I own.

Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories.

I will say straight away that this is not my original copy of the game. I had a pretty standard version that my brother-in-law ordered for me from Ebay. Like all incredibly naive teenagers I either lost or sold my boxed copy in the mid 2000s.

This copy, i have owned for about 2 years. I picked it up whilst at a mini convention in Picturehouse at Fact, a cinema/art gallery in Liverpool. Walking through the myriad stalls of nerdy memorabilia i was drawn to a small basket full of loose GBA cartridges. I had recently found my 3DS (which i now realise has no GBA port) and thought maybe it's worth looking for something just in case. Curiosity piqued I picked up the bright green cartridge expecting a mediocre Hulk game or maybe a ninja turtles game and instead was met with Chain of Memories a game I honestly loved but didn't appreciate when I first played it.

It has always been a contentious game but after replaying it at the start of this year as part of the 1.5 + 2.5 remix. The story is great and really sets a lot of groundwork for the Dark Seeker saga.
