Grateful to the @china.institute Renwen Society for inviting Dr. Sidney Wong and I to speak about my great-parents Liang Sicheng and Lin Huiyin’s journey to the U.S. and the influences that shaped their lives. We also shared our joint research about the first women who studied architecture at the University of Pennsylvania through numerous hours of research in Philadelphia and Penn archives. We also invited distinguished guest Holly Fairbank, daughter of John King Fairbank and Wilma Fairbank, to celebrate four generations of our family’s friendship. Honored to present to an engaging and enthusiastic audience, one of whom came down from Montreal just to hear the talk. I hope we can continue to share our meaningful research. Le Sas Bon was born in New York City’s Lower East Side, and the neighborhood continues to shape who we are.

We believe being local means participating in the place you call home, eating at the small restaurants, drinking at the neighborhood bars, hanging at coffee shops, supporting independent businesses, and showing up for the people around us. We’re proud to be part of this downtown community and to keep building Le Sas Bon right here alongside it.

「隧道」的主理人 Mohemann 刚刚结束了一次长途之行。在这次深入采风中，他参加了多场与厂牌流派类似的电子音乐节，并结合自己的艺术创作进行了探索与考察。沉浸的感受过后，外界的批判与审视变淡了，形状也变得坚实有力。他愈发确定厂牌一直以来坚持的方向是对的，延续它的底气也变得比之前更足。

我们希望能以更加全球化的视野，呈现Techno场景中的所见所闻。这次「隧道」活动，邀请到了来自纽约的DJ Chamberlain Zhang；辗转美国、日本以及泰国生活多年的Liàng，以及「隧道」的运营主管Mohemann。7月30日，上海Heim，希望能在那见到你。
