Over six weeks, students work with professional artists to learn acting, writing, directing, and storytelling. But what makes this program truly special is the way it helps teens find their voice and the courage to share it!

This program is completely free to all participants! Your donation helps keep this program accessible to every teen who needs it.

From Speak Up to the main stage! We couldn’t be prouder of Maria Wang, one of our incredible Speak Up alumna, who is now part of 'What the Constitution Means to Me,' an OCTG Recommended production! 🎭

Maria shines as one of the debaters, using her voice with strength, confidence, and authenticity, the very heart of what Speak Up is all about.

Seeing young artists like Maria continue to grow and share their voice reminds us why programs like Speak Up matter so much.

Don’t miss the final week of 'What the Constitution Means to Me' and see her and our other casts on stage!

Reya Shah first joined our Speak Up program as a young artist, and now, she’s back on stage as one of the debaters in 'What the Constitution Means to Me.'

It’s always special when one of our youth artists returns in a new role, and seeing Reya grow from student to performer has been such a full-circle moment for us.

Come see her in action (alongside an incredible cast!) now through October 26.

The stories we share are possible because of YOU.

If a Chance Theater production has ever made you laugh, reflect, or feel a spark of hope, then you’ve already been part of what makes this place so special. Every standing ovation, every moment of connection, every brave new story, it all happens because our community believes in the power of live theater.
