weekend well spent ❤️🐺

How lucky are we 🥺💛☀️🌼✨

Grateful. Overwhelmed. Loved. Renewed. And a million other feelings have crossed our hearts in the last couple of days.

We spent nearly every waking second of this weekend surrounded by our family and friends and it felt like a giant bear hug 🧸 Pretty sure we were smiling from the second we woke up to the moment we fell asleep yesterday. It’s been a while since our hearts have experienced joy like this, and the timing feels incredibly healing as we prepare for another round of IVF very soon.

When Josh and Bri approached us about this, we told them that more than anything, knowing that they thought of us was the most meaningful piece of all. In all honesty, agreeing to this level of generosity was a little out of our comfort zone. But something I once heard was “don’t hog your journey, it’s not just for you” and this felt like a really special opportunity allowing us to come together with so many who have lifted us up throughout this journey. We are honored, humbled and words fall flat as we try to communicate the magnitude of our gratitude to be a part of all this.

To say our people (and our pups 😉) mean more to us than anything else in this life is an absolute understatement. At times we may feel as if we’re walking through this alone, but our people continue to wrap us in their arms and prove us otherwise. And trust me, none of it goes unnoticed. The remembering of big appointments. The check-ins that seem to arrive when we need them most. The curiosity and willingness to learn about this complex medical process. The long hugs that accompany heavy news. The prayers behind the scenes. While it may feel insignificant, I promise that these gestures mean everything to us and they provide us the courage and strength to keep pushing forward.

To everyone that walked (or ran 🤪) beside us this weekend, and to everyone who cheered us on in spirit — thank you x a million. We’re gonna remember this day forever 💛
