putting this into words, isn’t easy.
so ima try my best…

growing up, when you discover music, and your brain soaks up every note, every feeling, it shapes you.

you listen to what your parents show you, then someday you find something on your own that feels special. new, exciting, drives out feelings in your soul that you never knew existed.

I can remember watching the Alive at Red Rocks: Incubus DVD thinking this band was playing on another planet. What is this place? How on earth did they manage to have a band play there?

you hear a lot about Red Rocks, as it’s put on its own pedestal, viewed different than any venue on earth. I can safely say, nothing could’ve prepared me for that view from stage. it looked as if I was playing to a monolith made of humans. humans who grew up like me, and dedicated their life to loving Heavy Music.

I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to play music that my bandmates and I created from our hearts, and it be able to resonate off the rock walls of this sacred place.

I’m so grateful that I could share this moment with the love of my life by my side the entire set. it felt all the more special having her by my side, and feeling her comfort when my mind spiraled looking out into the crowd.

Our genre was never meant for a place like this. But all the love and support the world has given us granted us this day, and I’ll never be able to repay that.

put the cheesy headline aside, “Deathcore at red rocks, etc.”, this was just an awesome day, and something I’ll remember and cherish forever. Not just for what it was, but how it felt to share this moment with my bandmates, and my amazing partner in life.

Thank you @motionlessinwhite for bringing us along this tour, and i can safely say I wouldn’t have wanted to play here for the first time with any other people.
