With you four, there is always something to celebrate. I am blessed! We are blessed! I don’t take what we have for granted and my ❤️ is full of gratitude. Sons you are strong and courageous. You work hard to provide and you are always on a journey of growing and becoming. You love Jesus and His house and that is so evident. You are an amazing father and husband. Daughters you are never a second thought or an in law. You are what I prayed for. You are kind, tender, compassionate, full of wisdom and full of Jesus. You were born to be a wife and mother and the selflessness you both have for your families is rare. I love you all more than life. Thank you for being everything God created you to be!! #nationalsonday #nationaldaughtersday

Top down we rolled in August and said goodbye with our bags packed all in the same breath.
It was a month of snuggles, dates with my best friend, new seasons for friends, and birthdays!

Not sure that I did anything to deserve this life and the privilege to be your mom and Geegee. To have a small part in who you have become and are becoming has been a gift that I will never take for granted. I love each of you more than life and will always be talking to Jesus about you and for you! In your corner for life.

Easter 26 - Jesus you really did it!! My heart is forever grateful that you gave your life for me and exchanged my ash for your beauty. My pain for your healing. My defeat for your victory. Thank you for this abundant life and that my family can serve you today! It is a privilege to serve a resurrected King and to build his church. @latitudechurch what a beautiful therapeutic community you are!

For every door God closes, He opens another with greater purpose.

Tomorrow is my last Sunday service leading worship at the church that I have come to love so much.

When I first moved to North Carolina and found a home at Latitude Church, I remember praying, “God, please keep me here.” Being a military spouse, I’ve always known that every place we land is temporary. But the connection I felt at Latitude was something I did not want to let go of.

Over time, I realized that my prayer needed to change, and so did my heart.

During my time at Latitude I have grown spiritually in ways I never expected. My faith has deepened, even when it would’ve been easier to pull away or stop trusting altogether. I’ve discovered more about my spiritual gifts, about who God created me to be, and about what it means to truly walk in faith.

Being taught, guided, and mentored by the people I have met at Latitude has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. This church has shaped me and changed me forever. And through that, my prayer shifted from “God, please keep me here,” to “God, keep me here as long as I need to be, and when it’s time for You to use me somewhere else, help me be ready.”

Leaving has been incredibly emotional, but my heart is full of gratitude. I’ll forever appreciate what this place has poured into my life and the people I’ve gotten to know because of it.

If you’re looking for a church near New Bern North Carolina (or an online church), I can honestly say you won’t experience anything quite like Latitude. Visit Latitude Church and be welcomed home by the same people who were once strangers to me, but who have now become some of my dearest friends.

Thank you Jesus for this chapter of my life, and for the next. 🤍
