A very big chapter of my life came to a close a few weeks ago, and I have to say it is probably the most bittersweet one. Thank you @heidiknightschoolofdance for giving me this home for the past 10 years and creating the environment to learn more than just dancing. Thank you to all my teachers for your endless encouragement for every class, competition, and recital and your dedication to providing a safe space to learn. And most of all, thank you to my parents for letting me live out this passion for so long, I truly can’t imagine how any of this would’ve happened without your support. Being a part of this family has been the biggest blessing and I am so thankful for everything I’ve learned, all of the memories, and the special friendships I have built through this studio. A hard goodbye, but HKSD will forever stay as a special place in my heart. 🤍

Saturday night, I said goodbye to the place I’ve called a second home for 15 years of my life! I am forever indebted to Heidi Knight School of Dance for acting as constant provider of community, encouragement, and joy for me. I’ve grown and learned so much about myself through dance, and I truly wouldn’t be the same without this experience.

To my mom, thank you for encouraging me each and every day to lead with the best I had. Though my passion may have been dim at times, you never stopped reminding me of the why behind what I was doing. You saw how it was shaping me in ways beyond the physical, and I am so grateful for your love and support that got me across the finish line.

All of the countless hours I’ve spent were worth every minute. I’ve gained so many intangible qualities that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. It flew by faster than I ever could’ve imagined, but I will hold onto each and every laugh, hug, and combo, as some of my fondest memories are because of this place. It was truly so much more than just dance to me. And, I gained a lifelong family! I can’t believe I’m officially an alum!

nonchalant caterpillar is out✌️✌️✌️

Wow all I can say is how grateful I am. Grateful for my team, my students, my best friends and so much more. This year has been quite difficult for me with my best friends graduating and me not being with them. It’s something I have been dreading for so long and still can’t believe it’s actually here. But I am so blessed to have them and can’t wait to see them in their next chapter love u guys 🥹💔!! Also grateful for year 2 of teaching it was something so special and I couldn’t have done it without @jasmine.__.p. #moonbeanicecream #67choir 🥳🥳. I am so glad I am apart of this community and can’t believe how fast this year went by. Only one more year left!!

Season 23 has come to an end. I love this team so much and every single one of them mean a lot to me. Thank everyone for their continue support, love, laughs, and encouragement. Next season here we come!

It’s been such a week, but I am so grateful and blessed that I got to spend it with the team I love most. 🫶🏾

we put our poker face on and danced. We left it all on the stage!! ❤️🖤❤️🖤

To my teachers, thank you for pushing me and never letting me give up when things got hard. Thank you for believing in me, especially when I didn’t believe in myself. I am so grateful to have you as my teachers.

To my team, thank you for supporting me and always being there for me. I am so proud of every single one of my teammates. We have all worked so hard, and I am grateful for every memory we’ve made together.
The memories we make like dressing room talks, showing our dances, cheering each other on made this season so much more special. I couldn’t be more thankful to dance beside each and every one of you.

To my mom, thank you for showing up to every performance, no matter the circumstances. You have pushed me, encouraged me, and shown me that I am capable of things I never thought possible. I can’t put into words how grateful I am to have you by my side through everything. I love you so much, and I will never be able to thank you enough for all that you do for me.

To my dad, thank you for always supporting me. I love seeing you show up with flowers and a smile. Thank you for taking me to practice, even on your busiest days, and for always showing up when it mattered most. I am so grateful for your love, support, and encouragement. I am incredibly grateful to have you as my dad.

This week reminded me just how blessed and grateful I am to be surrounded by these amazing people. I love you all more than you’ll ever know. 🤍

Season 23 is officially over!

I’m so thankful that i got to spend everyday with the people i call my friends and family. I’m so thankful and blessed to get this opportunity to dance with such an amazing group of people. I’m forever thankful for Mrs. Heidi and all the teachers that have been there for me!! I’m so grateful for my family, friends, and everyone who has supported me throughout this year. I’m especially thankful for my team and all the memories we’ve made together.
