Hey guys, wanted to share my own Demonstrations from today’s force-on-force training in front of the class.

In this exercise, the opponent is oriented toward the door and cycles between tango / no-shoot behaviors. The operator entering at the door has to process what they see, establish PID, and react appropriately.

To be clear, this is not “solo CQB” in the sense of clearing an entire building alone. This is solo CQB as a way of isolating individual deployment responsibilities and assessing the operator without relying on the rest of the team.

We start the week cold with force-on-force. Every student has to go through it.

We’re assessing their PID, decision-making, understanding of principles and priorities, and what they actually retain under pressure.

No easing into it with paper targets. We go straight into interaction, decisions, and consequences.

Training Day 1 — ITCQB Week 2.

I’ve got at least two more tours in me. @usairforce how about we hang out again and do some Major activities together?

In the meantime, helicopter weapons training with @change_of_behavior - I always thought it looked so dumb when people on IG call these pew pews because social media will hide your content if you call it what it actually is. Suck it IG: firearms firearm AR Daniel Defense boom stick assault rifle 🫡

I think this ship has sailed.

Helicopter training with @change_of_behavior because side quests are fun. Side quests with 🔫 are the best.

Be peaceful, but never harmless. Train your body, discipline your mind. If violence ever finds you, be better at violence than they are.

Tactical approaches and stay high above the cooties. Training day with the squad (about half the crew was girls they can do this too!) Between sending a successful DM and hitting a 20 inch target from a moving bird in the sky, the message to a girl is a much harder target to hit.

Take your dusty AR off the wall and take it on a helicopter. @change_of_behavior runs all kinds of courses and this one includes hitting targets while hanging outside of a 🚁

Just don’t get frustrated when you learn how much math is involved to hit something while you’re floating by.

Located north of San Diego! Anyone can do this, and you don’t need any gear to sign up ✏️
