Year 8.

When time means everything & nothing.

‘Arun, first son sun - rising child
who died so young and
has left my heart in
rotating rhythms of disbelief
and a pain I have never known
tears run out like a desperate
sibling longing for her long lost brother
wanting that every other
day phone call
‘Hey Parul, what are you doing?’
Pure Heart Love
that arrived in its full
force after he
went off to twinkle’

The above is a small part of a poem I wrote last year called Made of. Whole poem can be read on fb Amena Zaman

Art by the supreme talent that is @chanijagdev 🙏🏾♥️
