Hell of a year.

Once upon a time...two goofy 8th grade boys changed schools in the middle of the school year. That week in January, I heard all about this other new kid, CarLando Barton. I didn't know it at the time, but it's become clear over the past four years that God had a plan and that these two boys have both been there for each other time & again.

Last night, their classmates recognized one of the most precious gifts God could ever give you, a forever friend. I know that no matter where life takes them, Evan & CarLando will be cheering for each other. And I will always be SO grateful that Evan had a true friend during this chapter of life. We love you @d1._.lando, you are a blessing to our family.

And it absolutely did not escape my notice that this award was given to the two remaining members of the "OG Supper Club" (whose senior members won together last year) too. I love you guys so much. Keep doing good things, I am so proud of you! ♥️
