POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The Reserve in August.

August arrived quietly, and somehow still managed to be full.

The Reserve, as always, showed very little regard for schedules.

While one person was rehearsing lines beneath the lapa roof, another was setting off to build a gym in a place affectionately known as Mars-Land.
Flowers quietly decided spring was worth the effort. Birds got busy building. A tiny ostrich stayed close to its mother. There were small harvests, potjies shared with friends, golf played in ways no course designer ever intended, mountains climbed, hospitals left behind, projects started, rugby celebrated, and songs sung a little louder than they probably should have been.
By morning another story had already begun.

And in between it all, there were a hundred moments that never made it onto camera - if we tried to fit everything August held into these monthly reels, they’d stop being reels and start becoming short films.

This is simply the evidence that it happened. 🌿🌺

The month of May felt less like a calendar month & more like a whole season of change here at Haumanskloof.
Gumboots, gravel, & a deeper kind of quiet.

We pulled the boots out for the first real winter rains, & welcomed some new wheels to the farm to help us navigate the mountain terrain.

Between tracking the rising riverbeds, working the soil, & usual farm maintenance, our family also walked through the heartbreak of losing our Ouma ~ encouraging us to slow down & re-establish our rhythm.

Nature doesn’t pause when life gets heavy ~> it just transitions.
Life on the land keeps moving forward - reminding us to pace ourselves & find comfort in natures offerings.

Watching the reserve slowly shift into its quiet winter coat has been the true grounding we needed.

Thank you for being on this journey with us. 🤍

A new chapter begins at Haumanskloof 🇿🇦

No matter how you say it ~ the feeling is always the same.
More than just a destination, it’s a community, a feeling, & a piece of paradise we can’t wait to share with you.

Come for the views, stay for the soul.

Twisting time @kundavalley in a great big yurt // Time Machine.

A dreamy journey to co-create & conjure up
~ The Time Traveller’s Inn ~

A space where time and her passengers took a well-earned break. Memories stretched their legs, futures loitered curiously, and everything, absolutely everything, began, ended, and forgot what it was doing, all at once

What true magic we experienced in this space! Thank you to the artists, the lovers, the dancers, the crew & to our home and family @porcupinehills 🤍🤍🤍

Aligned with the Flow of the Divine 🦅

I am honoured to create art like this ~
in deep surrender, listening to the rhythm of Self, Earth, and Cosmos.

Listening to the synchronicities.

When I live this way, I trust
the Flow of the Divine
to guide to me the people and projects that are meant for me,
to move through me with ease and grace,
to bring healing art into the world.

Channeling a marking for this sister flowed effortlessly.
Her clear connection to Spirit made it easy.
She let Divine Flow move her ~ and lead her to me and her marking.

Earlier this month I traveled deep into the Rocky Mountains
to tattoo Chant and her family.
It was magical, and I’ll share more about it soon.
My first time tattooing remotely as part of a birthday celebration ~
I’d love to do it again.

If that idea calls to you,
an intimate marking ceremony as part of your celebration or gathering;
birthday, anniversary, wedding, soul connection ~
let’s connect.
