Food is an important part of our trips. We have three cooks in our back-up team who make everything from scratch, from dumplings and pancakes to borsch. We also take plenty of fresh fruit and nuts, as well as homemade jams and local honey.

These @chapelcollection coats are worth a detour to @feltlondon in SW3 - make sure you grab a bottle of Elgiva at the same time. The beautiful Harris tweed deserves a regular Elgiva spritz as prevention against moths.

Handmade objects are a little like fairy tales. They carry stories, traditions and a connection to both the people who made them and the natural world from which they come.

That is why fairs like this matter. They bring together people who still make beautiful things by hand and those who value the human connection behind them.

Thank you to everyone who came to the Summer Fair at @thesloaneclub. It was wonderful to see so many people spending the day talking, browsing, discovering new makers and supporting craftsmanship.

Only a month to go until this wonderful fair @thesloaneclub I’m taking part alongside over 30 fabulous independent brands all curated by @alexandratolstoy

Wednesday 3rd June 9am to 8pm, The Sloane Club, 52 Lower Sloane Street, London.

We’ll be in the Lila Room with the glazed roof wide open, ice creams all day (and no doubt good coffee) then cocktails from 6pm. Or a glass of rosé 🌸

No entry fee and no booking required. We will be delighted to see you there.
