I’m honestly feeling irritated and disappointed because this involves the cultural heritage of my own mother’s side of the family. I already shared my concerns about GMMTV’s Scarlet Heart Thailand and its adaptation of Chinese Drama “Bu Bu Jing Xin (步步惊心) in 2011 and they have a second sequel, and a Korean remake”. At first, I thought they were using Lanna attire, but now that I’ve learned more about the situation, I feel that this has gone too far. Cultural heritage is deeply connected to our history, identity, and traditions, and it deserves to be respected and represented appropriately.

I’m speaking up because this matters to me and my mom’s side of the family. I hope people can take these concerns seriously, listen to different perspectives, and recognize the importance of protecting cultural heritage. Let’s speak up respectfully without spreading hate or attacking anyone personally.

Mind you I’m half Kenyan-Burmese & Karen Ethnicity!Thank you for your understanding.

GMMTV PLEASE LEARN HOW TO RESPECT OUR CULTURE
