5 whole years of adventures as husband & wife.

Happy 5 year anniversary to @char000111 💖
Remember the time that we knew each other for less than a month and we went and did a couples photoshoot on a whim?
Remember that time we decided to go to Paris for the weekend?
Remember that time that you drove on the wrong side of the road (in Scotland) even though neither of us wanted to drive just so I could go swimming in Loch Lomond?
Remember that time that we discovered a new coffee shop in Montreal (okay, we do that a lot. Haha)
Remember that time we decided to get married after only knowing each other for 6 months?

I wouldn’t want anyone else to adventure with, my love.
Like I told you this morning, the last five years have been so good, that I think I might just need to find you in every lifetime after this one. 💖
I love you, Charles!!

Happy Birthday to the best adventure buddy that anyone could ever ask for.

Charles is so many things. Among those is a lover of movies, of great food, an incredible dog dad, the best adventure buddy, my teammate for life, a really kind soul, a great cook, my best friend, an amazing Uncle, and so so so much more.

You have literally changed my life (for the better) & I can’t wait for so many more birthdays together.

How lucky are we all to be in your orbit??? 💖💖 Happy birthday, baby! I love you!!!!

Ate a ton of seafood, visited with my friends and family, spent a LOT of time with my BFF (the ocean), soaked in a couple sunsets; truly appreciated my hometown.

It’s really special when a hometown visit means a visit to the most beautiful place on earth. Spending time with those who mean so much to you.

This was one of the most soul filling trips that I’ve taken in a while.

Honestly, something that I really took for granted in Victoria was being able to go for a drive.
Like, a cruise down the road, windows down, music playing.
Another thing? How friendly everyone is.
It was clear how inclusive spaces were. People would say hi to you on the street.

Victoria is a magical place. ✨
I love that I get to keep coming back.

Happy 2nd gotcha day to our beautiful boy.
We joke that we birthed you, because you are a perfect mixture of both your dad and I that any other explanation doesn’t make sense.

You fill our lives with joy, a little mischief, and a whole lot of cute. Thank you for getting us outside every day, even in the winter. For loving us, and opening up to us more and more everyday.

We were just talking to the barista who was loving on you this week that you went through a lot to get to us. We will never forget that, and always be grateful that it brought you to us.

I love that you love a sunbeam, a nap and a treat. That you, like your dad, get reaaaal sleepy at night time and get excited when it’s time to go to bed.

You love a routine, like me. Knowing what’s next. Also like me, you are a little sassy when you want to be. 😅
I love that when it’s time to go out for your walk, you check to make sure that I’m still getting dressed, and calmly sit waiting, always a little in the way, so that we couldn’t forget that it is time.

Otherwise? You’re snoozing. And I love that for you.
Cheers to 2 years, but cheers to the bajillion more we have to go (dad says that you’re never dying, and I choose to believe him.)

As always, a big thank you to @adopcionesperronas @hotchicken5 @yamita1011 and @riouxnaomie for rescuing our boy ✨💖✨

365 days with you and 2600+ photos (most of them, you’re sleeping) later - and I have to choose 10 pics?!

Felipe, you can’t read this, but I hope we show you everyday how much we love you. You took a hot minute to warm up, but looking back, you were always doing your best.
I remember the first time you rested your head on my leg, and I burst into tears. Such a brave boy.

You love a sunbeam.
I can’t decide if you are happily obsessed or annoyingly murderous of squirrels.
You LOVE chicken.
You are content to snooze literally all day, but are also stoked for a little outdoor time.
Your zoomies are so cute.
I love how you get anxious, and have to go chew on your blankie (I don’t love that you get anxious, but I love how you know how to self-soothe.)
I love how we understand each other now. We communicate very well (although I still wish you could speak… sometimes. Ha)
I love how you have your dad wrapped around your paw.
You faked us out in the beginning, not being food motivated. So much so that you had us hand feeding you. 🙄
You had to get a bunch of teefs removed, and it somehow made your smile even cuter.
You really love your non-parent people: @em_iliiiie, @audreyymaudee & @tiniestbabe.
You don’t love sharing your toys, but you begrudgingly will.
You do not like thunder. I’ll never forget the first thunder storm where you jumped into the bed and let me snuggle you, and that one time you dragged me at a RUNNING pace back home - when I realized you knew where home was.
After breakfast snuggles are a must.
After last walk treats are too.
You’re SO SMART. Learning tricks and being brave.

I love you so much my little baby boy. I’m glad you can’t read this, because then my secret is still safe that you have me wrapped around your paw too.
I look forward to hundreds of thousands more picture-worthy moment - no matter if we take a picture or not.

Happy 1st gotcha day, my baby. 💖✨

Had an incredible time on our first ever all-inclusive vacation. It’s amazing to think that this paradise is only a 4 1/2hr flight away!
Punta Cana was amazing - the ocean was warm, the weather was gorgeous and the people were kind. 💖✨

Very grateful for this restful and rejuvenating experience with @char000111. I love adventuring with you! ✨🥰🌴

HAPPY 2 YEARS IN MONTREAL!

Technically it was yesterday 😅 but I truly overthought what pictures to share, and what to say.
We have had some incredible adventures in Montreal and out of Montreal. This year has been a wild ride, and couldn’t have done it without @char000111, my adventure buddy.

Also, biiiiig love to my future house co-owners @audreyymaudee & @em_iliiiie 🥰 for being incredible and supportive friends. (We are not very good at taking pictures. I didn’t have many to choose from 😝)

WE ADOPTED A DOG this past year (well, last 6weeks). Which wouldn’t have happened had we not been here. So glad that we found you, Felipé. 🥰

Here’s to many more years in Montreal!

My longtime friends came to visit us/Montreal this weekend and I truly couldn’t have had a better weekend.

It meant a lot to have some Victoria friends come to see us in Montreal, get to meet Felipe, see the neighborhood I live in and share in some great food.

I also love how we continue to see each other, regardless of where we live in the world.
Love y’all so much ✨💗 @emeeegee & @jaridtaylor 💗✨
