Two weekends in a row, we’ve had the sweetest reason to celebrate. 🥂

This weekend was all about Kelly’s niece, Chandler, and her beautiful bridal shower!

Of course, we couldn’t show up without a few special touches of our own. We filled the day with charcuterie cups, fresh crudités, and even tried our hand at something new: charcuterie wine toppers!🍷

There’s something extra special about getting to create for the people you love, and we feel so lucky to have celebrated two beautiful brides-to-be in our families two weekends in a row.

Chandler, we are so excited for you and this next chapter! 💖

COPPER PUMPKINS🧡 No... I’m not growing a special kind of pumpkins🤣🤣
But since I received a LoT of love on these beauties, I thought I’d let you know what works best for me. I find SPRAYING over painting works so much better for me!! The painted pumpkins scrape off way to easily for me😢. I tried my hand on the lighter green one. They LOOK beautiful, but if they touch anything- the paint is scraped away. I’ve doing getting a spray paint that adheres to plastics, metals, etc really really works for spraying these cuties🧡 Let me know what works best for you below⬇️

So...Yesterday’s post had many of you thinking I was featured in a magazine.. when actually I was just showing a Poppy article. 🤷🏼‍♀️So today I thought I would share my actual magazine feature in @countrygardensmagazine from 4 yrs ago at my old house. The article talks about my move from one house to the next on the same road. I would take wagons full of split perennials from my old house to this one to start over in a yard that was void of anything! I kinda went overboard and created more work than was possible for just me. I ended up hiring a neighbor boy to help me all summer just to maintain all 3 1/2 acres of gardens. It was enjoyed immensely though from clients, friends, garden tours, open houses, photographers, my daughter’s wedding… and even a friend’s wedding. I also did a fundraiser tour that helped raise money to bring my grandson Joe home from Uganda!
So here I go again.. starting over from scratch.. trying to create gardens around our new home, all the while telling myself not to plant too many gardens that I can’t maintain it🤦🏼‍♀️.. will I never learn?
This front pic of my she shed, my hubby had built for me. It has since ended up in another garden magazine without him getting the credit which is was sad, cuz he rocked this out, and I loved it so much!
So there’s a walk down memory lane for ya! Thanks for sticking with this long post!😆
Happy Monday friends!
