To the pnm who…

A message from us to you! No matter your story, there’s a community here at Oregon waiting to welcome you! 💛

#alphachiomega #alphachiomegauo #axo #universityoforegon

Starting a new chapter of your life, far from everything you’ve always known, and wondering where you’ll find your place and your people can feel like a big leap. I never expected to find some of my best friends, a second family, and a home away from home all the way in Oregon, but Alpha Chi gave me exactly that. I found girls who have supported me through every high and low, celebrated the little things with me, and made 2,000 miles from home feel a little less far away. Some of my favorite memories at UO have been with the people I never would have met if I hadn’t taken that leap of faith, and I’ll forever be grateful that Alpha Chi became such a meaningful part of my college experience, giving me lifelong friendships and cherished memories. I hope you find the people who make you feel known, loved, and supported, too. ❤️💚

Love,
Anika

Hi PNMs! I’m Emma, the Chapter President of Alpha Chi Omega, and if you’re feeling nervous going into recruitment, I promise you’re not alone. We have all been in your shoes, and we remember exactly what those nerves feel like. My biggest advice is to not worry about where you think you “should” be and focus on where you feel most like yourself. Go into each conversation curious, be 100% you, and don’t put pressure on yourself to say the perfect thing. Our recruiters are so excited to meet you and genuinely want to get to know your personality. And remember, one amazing or awkward conversation does not define your recruitment experience. Trust yourself, have fun, and trust that you’ll end up exactly where you’re meant to be. I can’t wait for you to experience the magic of recruitment! I’ll be cheering you on the whole way!

Hi PNM’s! My name is Berit, and I just finished my freshman year, so trust me, I know how nerve-racking this can feel!

Going into recruitment, I was worried that joining a sorority would hurt my grades or take away time from my schoolwork. But I quickly discovered that it is quite the opposite! For me, being a part of AXO
