What a blast it was to be a part of an evening with people who want to be a part of the solution with all that’s happening with the realities of human trafficking.

We are grateful and @wholenessjourney is grateful to be a partner of @safe_sbc and other organizations who are also a part of this work!

Such a fun night and meeting some wonderful people talking about meaningful things and how we can be the change we wish to see in the world 🌎 let’s impact lives together 🤍

The crisp air, refreshing water, sunshine, disconnected from technology to be connected to eachother

This was such an epic sailing adventure that we are so thankful for @dcbarton and her husband, some of our favorite people!

The adventures, the conversations, the laughter, the beauty..these are the things you’ll remember. We feel like the richest humans with the experiences and friendships we have!

It’s been hard on this season of life to find moments like this because we have been working so hard. AND we also know these are the moments that matter.

I don’t share this all to say “how cool is my life” I share this because I want you to think about if you are doing the things that refresh you? Do you know what brings you joy? Do you have community that makes you come alive?

More to come and taking in the moments that create lifelong memories 🤍

Sometimes we are living our life so fast that we forget that the life we are living now is what we used to pray for.

Pause, look back, and don’t take the current season you’re in for granted.

These are moments you once prayed for 🤍

Char always wanted a marriage that would draw him closer to God. In his past marriage he found himself eventually walking away from God, questioning everything he once believed.

Reconnecting with Jess has been a powerful invitation to experience God in a whole new way. And for Jess being with Char, it is also been an experience of knowing God on a whole new level.

Listen to hear all the crazy twists and turns this crazy redemptive love story God took them on. Let’s say it’s been an amazing adventure with God together that’s tested their faith, trust, and tested themselves.

This is part 1 that you need to listen to before part 2 comes out later this week!

My husband and I spent two years going back-and-forth from Spain to California in a long distance relationship.

We were both in a really hard season due to crazy circumstances that are all a miracle We’re both even alive. Go listen to the full episode on Spotify, Apple podcast, or YouTube to understand the magnitude of it all.

When people tell me about their long distance relationship, that’s three hours away or even a different state, I smile at them and say “oh yeah that must be really hard.“ 😂😂😂 little do they know we had two different continents, nine hours time zone change for two years.

There were so many unknowns about our relationship, go listen to the Say Yes Anyway Podcast where we share how we got through and navigated all of it!

Also, if you enjoyed it, share it with someone who needs to hear it and send us a message so we know how it’s impacted you!

This was one of the craziest parts of the beginning of our relationship!

After an incident that happened to Char, his brother’s told me that after showing him a photo of me, he said “I love her”. And when they asked what he remembered of us, he said he had no memories.

When they told me, I was shocked and parts of me couldn’t believe it. It really was like a crazy movie that we were living, and I was about to go see him and meet his family for the first time, knowing that he could potentially have no memory of me or remember who I was at all.

Go listen to this crazy story that will probably turn into a book one day or a movie! You can find it by looking up Say Yes Anyway podcast on all platforms.

Yesterday was my birthday! And I thought it would be the perfect time to share something so open, raw, beautiful, crazy and wild all at the same time!

For the past couple years, I haven’t shared much of Char my love story publicly because it’s been a roller coaster to say the least! So today, we are sharing our story with you on the podcast!

It’s a story of redemptive love after heartbreak, healing, and the unknown.

One thing we both needed to learn is that we had to receive Love that we were both made for, and that we were deserving of. You’ll probably laugh and maybe you’ll even cry like Char did on the podcast. 🥹😂

We share crazy things such as:
•How Char and I reconnected more than ten years after we first met
•Why our relationship began during one of the hardest seasons of our lives
•What I learned while recovering from a life-changing car accident
•How Char navigated divorce, a stroke, seizures, and financial loss
•Why we chose to trust God’s timing instead of our circumstances
•The mindset shift that helped me stop living in the “what ifs”
•What long-distance dating taught us about intentional relationships
•The unexpected moment I knew I could trust this relationship
•Why healthy love often feels more like peace than perfection
•How saying yes changed the course of both of our lives

So we’re sharing about this crazy redemptive love story and our hope is that it is able to not only inspire people, but help people through their journey.

Go to Say Yes Anyway Podcast on all platforms and go listen to part one of the crazy story that we share!

After you do….as a birthday, wish, I would love to hear if any of it resonates with you and share it with a friend who needs to hear it!
