POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
For most of my life, the wrestling mat has felt like home.

It taught me discipline, toughness, accountability, and how to push through things I never thought I could. The sport gave me some of my best memories, life mentors, my closest friendships, and people that became family.

For those who aren’t aware, I fractured my L5 vertebrae again this year. Hearing that for a second time was hard to accept, but it also made things real. After a lot of prayer and many conversations with my family, doctors, and coaches, and understanding the long term risk, I’ve come to terms with the decision to medically retire from wrestling. This wasn’t an easy decision at all. Wrestling has shaped my entire life, and walking away hurts more than I can explain.

I owe a thank you to my parents, family, friends, coaches, teammates, and the brotherhoods I’ve been lucky enough to be part of throughout my life. Above all, I want to thank God for guiding me through every high and low and for giving me peace with this change. Wrestling gave me more than some wins and losses. It gave me people who stood beside me through the highs and lows, and I’ll carry those relationships with me forever.

I may not have accomplished every goal I once set on the mat, but wrestling still gave me more than I ever could have asked for. Wrestling built me into who I am today, and I’m taking that with me into the next part of life.

I’m forever grateful for everyone who stood behind me through this journey ❤️
